Chapter 31: Now or Never (reminds me of the Three Days Grace song O.o)
During the night that Isaac attempted to gain the Staff of Alrous. Dante had recovered and was reading a book upon the legend of the great Godswords. Once they were created, the gods agreed to seal the swords in an ancient temple. These Godsword were never seen since. A few days after that very night. Dante enters Roy and Anna's room where the two were. The two look at Dante with question.
Dante crossed his arms. "You two. I'm quite sure you know the severity of this situation." he said.
"Yeah." Roy replied.
"Yes." Anna also replied.
"Good. I have an idea." Dante throws the Sword of the Shining Rays to Roy. Roy doesn't realize it and gets smacked in the face. "We're going to need the legendary weapons never seen in the eyes of a single soul since the beginning of the God Wars."
"The Godswords."
"Correct. With their power, we might stand a chance during the fight with Angelo."
"Do you where the temple is located?"
Dante throws a map over to Anna. She opens it and scrolls her eyes around until she found the location. The location was the once great walls of the Icyene race, once known as Hallowvale. Hallowvale, now known as Meiyerditch lays the evil race, the Vampyre and guarded by the Vyrewatch.
Anna looks at Dante. "We have to go to Meiyerditch?!"
"Sadly, yes." Dante leans his back against the wall. "As you may know. Meiyerditch was once known as Hallowvale. Capital of the once powerful race, the Icyene. However, Lord Drakan was given the order by Zamorak to attack. He ultimately won by kidnapping King Ascertes, the husband of Queen Efaritay. This lead to the Icyene to surrender the capital."
"So, why hasn't Drakan found the area yet?"
"He has. However, the Icyene refused to surrender the information on how to enter it. Even at the cost of the King and the Queen's lives."
"So, do you know?"

"I wouldn't be talking about it if I didn't." Dante looks at Roy. "We'll need all the help we can if we're planning to enter Meiyerditch."
"Yeah. I mean afterall, I want to have blood leftover."
Cassius suddenly appeared. "Beware though, those vampyres are there." Cassius said.
Roy jumped to the far corner of his bed. "Ahh! How the hell did you do that!?"
Dante looks at Cassius. "What do you mean by "those" vampyres?"
"You've seen them before."
Dante's eyes are filled with the terrible memories of his past. He clenched his fists with an expression of anger. "Those things..."
Roy raises his right eyebrow. "Which vampire? Aren't they all the same?"
Cassius slapped Roy in the back of the head. "No. We will be dealing with the type of vampire that doesn't feast on blood, but on the very energy that keeps us from falling into an eternal sleep." Cassius crossed his arms. "The Bielzen, Lord Drakan's secret 'ace-in-the-hole'."
"We best be on our toes." Dante sighed. "It's now or never."
"Let's gather then."
Roy looks at Cassius with widened eyes. "W-wait!? You're coming with us?!"
"Would you rather me not?"
"No, no, no! It's just...it's different..."
"Whatever you say idiot."
"H-h-hey!"
After a little while, everyone had gathered together. And are teleported to the closest to Meiyerditch, which was outside it's gates. Dante peeks behind the wall and sees several Bielzenians and several Vyrewatch vampyres, on the ground in an eternal sleep. Dante stared with widened eyes. "What are they doing?" Dante whispered. "Taking over." Cassius replied.
The Bielzenians ran to the south, along with their leader, who looked more muscular and much taller than the others. Dante and the others quietly enter the kingdom and walk it's empty streets. "It's hard to imagine anyone walking down these streets." Roy whispered. As they continued walking south. They hide from more and more Bielzenians or some of the Vyrewatch.

Almost at the end, they hasted but still acted like they were walking on eggs. Suddenly, the group of Bielzenians from earlier headed their way. Spero quickly shapeshifted into one of the Bielzen vampyres. The group leader looked at Spero with question. "Why do you have humans? Why not feast upon them?" the leader asked.
"Well, you see. I was bringing them to you, my lord." Spero replied. Suddenly, wind blew from north to the south, from behind Spero and the others. The leader took one deep breath and realized that this was not one of his men. "You! You smell differently!" The leader quickly grabbed Spero by the throat and lifted into the air.
He slammed Spero's back into a wall of a building. "G-go!" Spero shouted. Dante and the others ran away. But were unable to outrun the Bielzenians. Roy drew the Sword of the Shining Rays and stabbed the Bielzenian in-front of him. Cassius charged at a Bielzenian and cut him in-front. The leader began to choke Spero.
Dante charged at the leader and lit his sword into a green flame. He slashed his sword across the leader's back, but was ineffective. The leader grabbed Dante with his other hand and slammed his back against the wall too. He revealed his teeth. Cassius got barraged with several of them jumping on top of him.
Roy threw his Steel Longsword at the back of one of the many Bielzenians on top of Cassius. All of the Bielzenians besides one jumped on top of Roy. The one still on top of Cassius looked at him and took a deep breath.. "You smell delicious, you're unlike the others." The Bielzen said as he revealed his teeth. "Why thank you. But you ain't getting any of my energy." Cassius replied.
Cassius disappeared and re-appeared behind the Bielzenian. Cassius impaled his Dragon two-handed Sword through the upper back of the Bielzen, which went right through his heart. The Bielzenian fell to the ground. Velator was killing them left and right, being the fact that it's his job to slay things like this

The leader looked at Velator and threw Dante and Spero away. "The man who slayed my brothers!" The leader shouted. After that, he charged at Velator at extreme speed. Velator stabbed his spear in the leader's gut but it didn't affect him at all. The leader punched Velator right in the face.
Velator flew off his feet and slammed on the ground on his back. Before the leader could do anything, he feels an arrow in his back. He looks behind him and saw Julie with her bow pointed at him. The leader laughed as he charged at Julie. Deus jumped in-front of Julie and charged at the leader. He activated his ability and increased his strength to superhuman.
Deus tackled the leader to the ground and began punching him in the face. The leader grabbed Deus' left hand and lifted Deus off his feet. The leader got back to his feet with Deus still up in the air. Julie pulled an arrow back on her bow's string and shot the leader but nothing happened. Until the arm in which he was lifting Deus with was cut in-half. Deus fell to the ground.
Suddenly, all the Bielzenians began killing one another. Within a matter of moments, all had been killed. The leader shuffled his head left and right, looking for who or what could have caused it. The leader's other arm suddenly lifts into the air. "What the!?!" he shouted. After those words, he rips out his own heart. The leader fell to the ground in a pool of blood.
On the tip-top of a chapel was a shadow of sorts, a figure of a person. Dante and Spero looked up at the figure and immediately knew who it was. "Void!!" Dante shouted.
