Just finished.
I must say, that has certainly kept me entertained! I'm not going to lie: at first, I had a hard time getting the concept of the different realms and Shades and all that together, but once I did It had me hooked! The plot twists added to the excitement, and I feel that the ending really wrapped up a lot, and also set the stage for part 2!
The characters themselves were interesting imo, and I like the mystery behind them all, especially "Mr. Blue"
Just curious here, but there are a lot of similarities in this story to a certain video game series, namely part 4 of said series, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Things that some to mind are the Cat people(Sorry, I never can get their correct name right), the Imperial Palace and the city being set up in a circle, and the Skarjil themselves seem akin to the Aelids from Oblivion, both being that they are extinct races that were prevalent in the land's past. Plus several others that I've noticed throughout the story.
Well now, on to part two!
