Eventually, he got his hands on guns from street gangs, and then proceeded to being involved in extortion, robberies, gang wars, and bounty hunting. He quickly realized this was much more profitable than labor, but also quickly realized he was a bad boy. Gradually, after several close calls with the law, he moved on from gangs, preferring to be independent, bounty hunting criminals, serving as a bodyguard for richer folk, and spending his spare time at pubs drinking, gambling and boxing.
Backstory: Upon reaching his twenties, Brock began pondering about The American Dream. Was there a better life overseas in the land of opportunity? Since he made enemies with multiple gangs and the law was hot on his heels, he knew it was time to move on. He set sail for New York in 1976.
He spent the past two decades traveling America whilst serving as a hired gun, mercenary, bodyguard, ranchhand, hunter, and occasionally a bounty hunter. For the most part, he did pretty well and learned lots of things. Although middle-aged, he is still a formidable gunfighter and adventurer.

Home was hell, and Hell's Kitchen was home, and that's all that mattered. He was a bad student, and often fought kids at school, 'cause why the hell not. His parents were also violent and aggressive, and sometimes criminal, so it's no surprise what happened to him.
Once he became a teenager, Ruairí joined the Westies, the local Irish-American gang, and participated in drug trafficking, protection racket, extortion, home invasions, gambling, abduction, truck hijacking, armed robbery, and assault. Although the Westies had ties with the Italian-American Mafia, they are in conflict with Italian crime families, Nativist gangs, Jewish gangs, other Irish gangs, and, unsurprisingly, the law.

Backstory: An enigmatic agent, Izha is a dangerous individual indeed, for she has never failed in any of her assignments, whether bounty hunting or contract killing. She tends to do her work when the sun is down. When she must kill, she uses her sniper rifle with great precision and timing, then darts off like a ferret. She seems to possess two Plasmids of some sort.
Izha is a strange figure, hated and feared by both the law and criminal organizations. She occasionally kills corporate officials, CEOs, deputy directors of law enforcement, members of crime families, and sometimes seemingly random killings, presumably out of vigilante justice. Apart from her contracts, her random killings and personal assassinations seem to have no motive.

In 1715, his wife died giving birth to their daughter, who also died shortly after being born.
Upset over the wars and the loss of his entire family, Théo wanted to find a way to end wars and bring back his family. He embarked on a strange journey to Eastern Europe, meeting Gypsies, witches, warlocks, and sages, seeking a way to bring back what he lost. He heard of a prince known as Dracula, who apparently came back from the dead, so journeyed to Transylvania for clues. Instead of finding a solution, he ended up a Vampire serving the vampiric prince for well over a hundred years.
Théo managed to escape Transylvania during the Napoleonic Wars, having stolen some gold as well. Pursued by Dracula's beasts, and Europe torn asunder by another huge war, and absent of outside help, Théo barely managed to stay alive. He returned home by the end of the Napoleonic Wars. To his irritation, his castle had already been claimed by a distant relative, and so he had no home to return to. With nowhere to go, he exchanged his gold for currency, then set off for New York to start a new life.
Backstory: Théo worked as a librarian and banker. During the turmoil of the Civil War, New Yorkers found out there was something amiss with him, and burned him alive. He survived. Since then, he gradually developed monstrous features and slightly glowing eyes. He now stays in the dark...

Origins: Hariata was born October 27, 1973, Rotorua, New Zealand, the middle child of two brothers. Her town of Maori attractions had only basic education and opportunities, but her parents' crafts got them enough money to move to Auckland when she was thirteen.
After graduating from high school, Hariata's parents saved enough money to consider immigration to California. So, they flew to Hawaii, then to Los Angeles, the second-largest city in USA before New York, and sister city of Auckland. There, Hariata studied for her Arts and Architecture degree.
Her older brother somehow got involved in the Dragna crime family, having beaten up a Dragna who sexually assaulted a young woman on campus. It was not long until she, her brothers, and parents were kidnapped.
In a strange twist of fate, a monster stormed the hideout, killing a score of mercenaries, a few Dragna family members, and then Hariata's bonded family, her older brother skipping his chair forwards to shield his sister before being ripped apart. Injured by bullets, the monster fled just as a strange old man appeared, leaving Hariata some scars on the face. After taking a good look at Hariata, the old man left. A SWAT team soon came.
Backstory: Ever since her family was massacred, Hariata wanted revenge against the Dragna crime family, and that filthy monster. The strange old man returned to her in her own apartment suite, offering Hariata a chance at vengeance, if only she joined the Hunters. The strange old man's name was Dred.

When he reached his twenties, Dred joined a militia allied with the Pinkerton's to fight against violent Native American tribes, and became a captain of his unit. Even today, Dred has good ties with the Pinkerton's, continuing a legacy of friendship his presidential ancestor formed. Although not a war hero, Dred was tall and physically powerful, once grabbing a criminal by the neck and trousers and throwing him away. He spent his twenties as a militiaman, hunting down dangerous criminals and working with the Pinkerton's.
When he was 33, while he and his militia force was sent to aid a Pinkerton division, he was ambushed by a monster, which decimated most of his men. The few survivors managed to fight the monster off, then regrouped with the Pinkerton division, only to discover they were already wiped out.
Eager for revenge, Dred and his three surviving men hunted the injured monster. During the fight, the monster was attacked by mysterious individuals, and working together, they killed it. Impressed by his bravery and strength, one of the mysterious individuals introduced Dred to the Hunters...

Both her parents would work, leaving Eliane at home alone. She would overhear arguing, yelling, fighting, and police fairly often in the hallways.
One day, her parents never came back home from work. Then, a week past. She was still alone. After eating and drinking everything in her apartment, she was faced with starvation and thirst, and had no choice but to wander around the apartment, knocking on doors and asking for help. Eventually, the police came. Since her parents could not be found, Eliane was assumed to have become an orphan.
