The next morning Tirent felt surprising well. The good night sleep had done him well, and by the sounds of things outside, everyone had let him sleep in. He sat up in his tent and sat down at a table, pulling together various bits of food, to eat.
After breakfast, he changed and stepped outside. The sun was up and the rest of the dragonkin were busying themselves with cooking things, sharpening and polishing weapons, studying maps, and talking to one another.
Tirent wandered outside, the air was fresh and cool, Tirent felt like flying. Then he remembered Jarrid, the kid who had broken Sorak's leg. That kid knew they were here, so he couldn't be just sent away, and he knew things about the facility that Tirent didn't, he needed to know. No matter how difficult he needed to pry as much information out of that kid as possible.
Sorak walked over to where Tirent was standing.
"Hey, Zephy started talking to the kid already he told me to come get you."
Tirent nodded, "Alright, let's go!"
As they walked Sorak asked "So, how do you feel?"
"Surprisingly good, I feel fresh, new, and ready to go haha." Tirent responded.
Sorak smiled, "Good, because you need your A game, this kid has his mouth shut tight."
Tirent smiled, "I'm not surprised, he seems like the type to not give things up easily."
Sorak and Tirent walked inside the cave where Zephy was sitting in a chair with a frustrated look on his face. In front of him sat Jarrid who was tied to a chair, he too looked frustrated.
When Zephy saw Tirent and Sorak walk in, He sighed with relief.
"OK your turn!" he said, as he got up and walked away.
"Good morning to you too!" Tirent called after him.
Tirent sat down in Zephy's chair and looked at Jarrid, who stared right back at him, challenging him to do something.
