Beth looked at the tea and answered, “It is because of the god she may serve. As you know from being raised here in this camp about the gods of Gielinor, there are many of them all of them have been banished from these lands because the god of balance banished them all away with his great power. The main gods most people think about are Zamorak, and Saradomin.
The only exception is here in this camp because this is a druid camp we worship the god of balance Guthix, the god you god your name from. There are other gods some very old ones. Well cutting this story short the gods were all at war with each other expect for Guthix, they fought and sought out to kill each other for dominance here in Gielinor. Guthix the god of balance was asleep at the time when he woke up to find everything being destroyed he was angry, so he smashed a giant sword down into the middle of the main battlefield and ended the wars.”
Beth had paused her story to take so that she could drink of the tea then after swallowing she resumed the story, “After he ended the wars by banishing the gods from the land and making many laws which are called his edicts. A lot of the edicts are tricky to figure out but many others are very clear. A war between the factions of the gods isn’t allowed, and violating anything by sending troops into an area in the name of the gods is also not allowed. If the edicts are broken then special followers of Guthix are to reawaken Guthix him and he will destroy the world and recreate it after getting rid of everything…”
Guthix interrupted even more worried now, *Wait is the god of balance going to reawaken and destroy this world now because a paladin is here? And what does a paladin have to do with anything?”
and nothing was spoiled
