And its a story, set in runescape. You need to read the prologue to the sequel to find out what sort of time it is all set in (See Contents.)
But yes, this thread is about a neo-Zamorakian cult known as the lords of dominance who attempt world domination. Their aim is to use the Tower of Zamorak in the Wilderness to destroy Gielnor, as it will never be Zamoraks land. Scorched earth policy, methinks.
However a resistance movement, the RCR, is going to fight back.
This is set in swords bows and magic sort of time, but with things like gnome gliders and gnomecopters (Although they are in this time too. Meh.) However, the prologue is set in modern Gielnor. Theres a fair bit of time travel involved in this story.
