Free training. If I do one load of 100% steel tracks and lay them myself I can get about 1k experience easily. It's only a little tedious, but makes up for it in being free.
And apart from experience and respect from the artisans you don't get much else.

And between being invited to several dinners and a surprise trip to see Bob Seger I didn't have much time to write. Hell, a picture I was drawing was spread across three days when projects like that generally take me an hour or two.
Besides this, I had an awesome weekend.

*Some* writing. Not all of the writing. I got other things to do, and other projects to work on. It would be nice to devote myself to one thing, but I get bored to quick and I would've been thrown out of the house once my Mom found out I wasn't being very productive.
