Who were some people that you befriended, and some that helped you with your writing?
-
I don't have any very close friends, mostly because I've moved away from the forums lately (I hope that's why anyway!). I enjoy reading Zai's (Zaibatsu 0's) work, and learned a lot about punctuation from that. I like talking to Maia Smith, and reading her writing. Tman (Tman Da Man1) is quite a good friend, and actually appears as a character in 'I'm Trapped'.

Do you have any signatures that you could flaunt?
-
Mostly from dead guilds. Currently, I'm pretty sure that I'm a Golden member of The Writer's Temple. I'm also a Pen Master of The Golden Pen (if I'm allowed to name it on here).
----
What advice do you have for aspiring writers?
-
Find an style you're interested in and some characters you like, and just keep writing. Also the saying 'write what you know' comes in handy. I once tried to stick a story in a setting which I knew absolutely nothing about, and I just couldn't do it.
Personally, I like to write fantasy. Nobody can contradict you! It's not like somebody can come up and say 'oh sorry, you can't put a dual-bladed spear in there'. You can use what settings you like, make up some great weapons, and put in a few new races if you want to. The characters are also important, as I find that if I'm not interested in my characters, than I can't write their story.

How have you done away with writer's block?
-
If I'm interested in my story than I won't get writer's block at all, so I try to stay that way. It helps to keep myself guessing ---- I never know what the ending'll be until I get there. If I have to improvise and make things up as I go along, then I'm impervious to writer's block!

Are there any events on these boards that have changed your writing significantly?
-
No, not really.
