Hello everyone, I'm Yam42. Thanks for taking the time to stop on this thread. As the title may suggest, this thread is a collection of my various literary works. I'd like to use these as a steppingstone in the growth and development of my writing style. Comments and feedback would be appreciated!
Here is my collection. Enjoy! (Stories, etc. begin on page two).
(I believe it goes without saying, but I retain full rights to my stories featured on this thread).

-Notable Feedback and Comments-

"Well, I read the story [Determination] and poem [Chronos]. I was expecting the husband to have been some darkly evil man who deserved death all along, to be revealed his evil deeds by Thanatos, but that didn't happen. The poem was a nice reflection about life and composition. . . . Well, that's all for now. I think this makes me the first poster, too. That makes me special!" (Posted by Azigarath).

"I read Chronos, both the revised and the original. I have to say, I did like the rhyming sequence you used in the original one, but the revised flows better." (Posted by Delnaz).

"Just read through much of your collection here, and you've got some solid work, for sure. I'm not quite enamored of everything, but I like the concepts that you write about, and Crown of Flame has a mythic feel that many struggle to create." (Posted by Xereva).

"I love 'A Passing'. You have an effortless knack to creating realistic and effective dialogue." (Posted by Cyun).

"This is an enjoyable collection, justified by your consistent writing style." (Posted by Snowbuster).

"Intense. Keep writing." (Posted by Hopeful Hero).

"When will you be writing more?" (Posted by Exodin).

(I am pleased to announce that I have seen so much great work on these forums, that I needed to expand this section of my thread by an extra post).

Every so often, I take some time to read shorter forum works, especially by those who aren't Stories forum veterans. I'd like to credit some of the works I have read and particularly enjoyed (as well as a few additional stories that I have written), and direct you to them so you can enjoy them as well. Here are some of the works by forum veterans, excellent up-and-coming writers, and myself (arranged in no particular order):

(Until I begin recommending more threads to fill this post, the final and the penultimate posts of this page contain the "Recommended" list).

QFC: 49-50-111-62110861
Azi has been a longstanding participant on this forum, and it is a wonder that I did not find this thread sooner. As he so often does, Azi again proves himself to be a creator of wonderfully symbolic pieces.

Upon the Wings (by Rancid Skull)
QFC: 49-50-659-63702504
This is a short poem, which I found to be very well done. It's only one post long, so give it a look if you have a moment.

Leb's Ensemble of Short Shorts (by Lebbeh)
QFC: 49-50-78-62913359
Where do I even start? Leb is a highly talented writer. This collection of his is excellent.

The Four Adventurers (by Mippow)

The tale of the 3 liches (by Lucky Girl)

This is a short backstory to another post. Whilst it's not perfect, I found it to be an excellent read.

The Revenant Hunters (by Brian Lion)
QFC: 49-50-530-63135067
This is a story that is only a few posts long. Despite the shortness of the story, the main characters are very vivid. I found it very entertaining.

Starved (by Lady Railly)
QFC: 49-50-812-63729756
This is Railly's ongoing full-length story. At the time I write this, it has not yet been completed; however, that does not detract from my enjoyment of it at all! By her own admission, the story is slightly reminiscent of *The Hunger Games* & *Holes*.
