Learth watched the creature. She had remained undetected during the whole conflict, and in its aftermath the creature was commanded to return to its resting place to replenish its energy. She followed it back into the Taverley dungeon, away from the conquered area. It looked grim.
Learth knew that her mission was to watch it, and see if there was any way to capture it or use it for the Zamorakians' advantage. She could simply see no way of controlling it, beyond advanced magic, maybe possible if Lightning could do it, she didn't know. It seemed too dangerous to try anything at the moment, so she remained hidden. Then, she felt a jolt in her back, like something pushed her out from the crevice in the wall where she hid.
She stood wide-eyed before the creature. She couldn't move. A surge of pain shot through her mind. She saw a skeletal face, and it began to burn. "What are you doing! I did not foresee this!" it screamed.
She fell to the floor, and the creature hovered over her, breaking the shadow over her face.
General Para walked slowly to where she lay, and where the creature hovered. He looked into its eyes, and it backed away. He picked her up, but she could not see him, nor did she know what had happened. She was looking through Lucien's eyes in a tunnel full of Dwarves in shackles. He was coming.

General Para walked slowly to where she lay, and where the creature hovered. He looked into its eyes, and it backed away. He picked her up, but she could not see him, nor did she know what had happened. She was looking through Lucien's eyes in a tunnel full of Dwarves in shackles. He was coming.
Para walked a few steps, and looked back at the creature. It cautiously began to follow them through the tunnel. They did not get far before they were stopped.
"So... you have come for my little slave." Said Lucien, looking at the two Zamorakians and the flame creature.
Learth's mind surged back into her body. It shot backward out of the General's arms, and to the ground. She looked up at Lucien, and scrambled backwards behind the creature before she realized what she was doing.
General Para glared at the skeletal form from beneath his full helm. He raised his sword to strike, and charged at Lucien, but he was frozen by his power.
"You do not realize what you have done. You're a problem." said Lucien, looking at Learth. "I let you go at first, and this is how you repay me? ... But of course, how could you have known that this was my property? I'll give you another chance. Leave now, and I'll-"
General Para broke free from the spell, and attacked Lucien again, who parried his blows with ease, paying him little attention.
"I'll spare you again. I warn you... stay out of my affairs!" Lucien Knocked Para to the ground. He advanced toward Learth.
"No." she said. She was no warrior yet. She knew she could not take on the wrath of her father... but something would not allow her to simply give up. Something somewhere deep inside, and also something right beside her. "No!" she screamed, and as she felt the fire of defiance within her, it burst out of her as she transformed. Her flesh melted off into dust, and her bones warped into the form of a snake. General Para stood again next to her, and they prepared to fight their enemy.

But before any of the three could make a move against the other, the creature lunged after Lucien. His eyes widened as he teleported away from where it lunged, but it followed after him, and Learth and Para pursued them. The creature shrieked whenever it was too far away from Learth and Para, and then when they came near again, it attacked Lucien. It seemed apparent to them after awhile that something was preventing him from controlling the creature. Lucien knew that this was Learth's mind.He tried to enter her mind and destroy it, which caused her great agony, but before he could get far enough, the creature would distract him with its attacks.
After awhile of struggling back and forth with Learth and the creature, he decided that he was ill-prepared, and retreated to the dwarven mine and into Maximus's vacant body in the place where he had hidden it. He didn't want the druids to grow suspicious, finding their leader gone for too long.
Lucien was frustrated that he was unable to gain the upper hand in this struggle. He needed a simple strategy, but he didn't have one, and was forced to return to tending his brainwashed Guthix followers.

Bweer and the other knights that remained in Falador could hardly sleep that night, so most of them trained, or sat with Saradomin in his chambers to reassure them. They had lost some of their own good friends, members of their families, and loved ones. It took all of Saradomin's godly persuasion to convince them that it was for the best...
But now, they seemed to truly be an invincible army. Completely loyal, and thus every knight was completely protected by the strength of his god. This was Bweer's consolation as he missed Ralex. He seemed like such a good good friend. A good man. He did not see why Saradomin could cast him out--he had done nothing. Yet, who was Bweer to question the will of a god? Saradomin must have known something about Ralex that he didn't. There must have been something about him that made him deserve what he got... Bweer just didn't know what. He didn't ask Saradomin, either. He didn't want to talk about it.

The captured of Falador had been given over to the guardianship of the Dark Warriors at the Zamorakian monastery just East of the Goblin Village. The army that had captured them was recalled to Varrock by Vorlon to defend it against Saradomin's forces. He thought it wisest, though, to keep these newest Zamorakians away from this battle. They were given an hour to rest at the monastery, then were taken Northeast into the Wilderness.
The wild was unnerving. Ralex had seen corpses before, but never charred ones. Whole valleys had been burned into the ground, and instead of a tree here and there, it was this or that creature's bones lying there, burnt. He was distracted from his own thoughts by a small commotion nearby. Sir Dringle's daughter looked sickly pale, and was whispering very quietly and rapidly to one of the Dark Warriors, who laughed every once in awhile, and nodded his head. At one point, Ralex thought he saw her try to run. The warrior she was whispering too held her back with his gauntlet, and slipped her a purple vial of some kind, after which she relaxed considerably.

He had never really spoken with her before, but felt compelled to now.
"Excuse me, miss," Said Ralex to her, "I know that we are all troubled, but I could not help but notice your conversation with this captor of ours..."
The guard she had spoken with was looking at them, and she met his eyes.
"Nothing." she said out loud. "It was nothing, just talking." As she said so, she pulled the little vial from her satchel, and whispered, "Do you know what this is?"
Ralex shook his head.
"The shields... look closely at their shields." She said, then stepped away from him, back toward the guard.
The girl seemed more on edge than tired or sad, like the rest of them. He looked at the shields... ordinary black square shields. Nothing important. When the guard wasn't looking at her, she would stare at Ralex, and he shook his head.
The ground was black like ash now... of course! Ralex looked just ahead, and his eyes widened in fear. He could hardly believe it, but it made sense, and he should have realized sooner.
"The shields!" he exclaimed, and wrestled one of the dark warriors to the ground, taking his shield. The dragons were upon them, and these were no black square shields--they were anti-dragon shields, painted black as a disguise.
Ralex had never faced a dragon himself, and since he had been stripped of his weapons and armor, did not care to now.
The three dragons surrounded the prisoners and dark warriors, looking down at them with hunger.
The warrior who had his shield taken was blasted first with the dragon's unforgiving fiery breath. He fell backwards to the ground, and crawled through the ash, but it was no use. The dragon bent down and bit him right in half, and his legs still scrambled for a few moments before it devoured the rest of him.

Lady Dringle smiled. "I thought you wouldn't get it. You've never seen an antifire potion, have you?"
"No, never. Thanks for that tip. I'd have been toast... quite literally." Ralex took her hand. "But how did you know?"
"My father explored the wilderness. He had a few of these around the house... and a few antifire sheilds as well. He also had a crude little map that I looked at when I was young, and he'd tell me stories of the dragons. The wild has many dangers."
"I've heard stories, too, but I don't know which ones to believe," Ralex said. "I've heard not only of beasts and revenants, but that the souls of men change out here... that they turn against each other. It does feel strange."
The other surviving knight, who was badly burned, asked for medical treatment. He was taken into a back room of the castle by two of the Dark Warriors.
"Welcome, new knights." said one of the warriors. "I'm ... a little disappointed. There are only two of you."
"Two?" Ralex asked. "No... there are three of us."
"No, there are two of you." he said. There was a loud scream from one of the back rooms.

The Zamorakians stayed awake all night planning their defense of Varrock against the enemy and their god. Despite the fact that Saradomin boasted an invincible army, Vorlon thought they certainly had some quality that could be used against them, and give the Zamorakians the upper hand, or at least avoid an outright defeat. His initial plan had not devastated them enough to prevent the attack. It did greatly reduce the number of enemies to face, and it was enough to sew doubt and fear amongst those who remained.
General Para, Learth, and the creature had returned to Vorlon in Varrock, having completed their mission. Vorlon and the generals were impressed by its power, but they had no way of knowing if it would be effective against Saradomin's soldiers. If only they could somehow test this creature's power, Vorlon thought, without so much at stake.
Just then, one of the hooded Zamorakians entered the chamber. "King Vorlon," He adressed, "You have visitors from Lumbridge."
Vorlon was surprised to hear this. "Who?" he asked, standing up. "From Lumbridge? Now? It's the middle of the night! I was not expecting anyone."
"Farmers, palace guards, merchants, tradesmen... all manner of folk." The hooded Zamorakian answered.
"Send them in at once. I dont have much time, but I'll see them." Vorlon said.
"Sir, we can't exactly do that. There isn't room. There are too many."

Vorlon stepped out into the street where the Lumbridge visitors had gathered. "Will someone come forward and tell me why you have come to us?" he asked.
Evil Dave stood at the head of the group, and began speaking for them. "Oh yeah," He smiled like a buffoon, "We had a super secret meeting of the Lumbridge Council to discuss the CHAOTIC HAPPENINGS OF LATE. You all have really taken over... at least we think so. I proposed at the council meeting that we embrace the time of EVIL'S REIGN OF FIERY TERROR and join up with you. The others shot down my BRILLIANT EVIL PLAN, but some of the guards who overheard agreed with me... sort of. And they spread the word to others, and before long we had this club. I named it the Lumbridge League of Evil... what do you think?
"So..." Vorlon looked out at the crowd. It was full of peasants, thugs, and unfamiliar faces. He eyed them skeptically. "You're telling me that these people wish to join us? That they will fight for me?" he asked.
A villager in a brown tunic spoke up. "If we don't, we figure we're as good as dead, if what we've heard of your battles is true."
"Most of you look like you wouldn't know what to do with a weapon. You'll need some training. You're not of use to us on the battlefield yet, but you can still be of use. You have given me an idea. Your services are needed immediately. Vorlon replied. He then turned to his Generals. "Lightning, can you cast a very powerful charm, that would cloak the whole city?"
Lightning sighed, "I was afraid you were going to ask me something like this. I can do bind and protection spells as well as any famous wizard, but I'm not a god. I can do nothing like Saradomin's barrier on Falador. It's a one-of-a-kind phenomenon... it's fascinating! I don't know how he does it. I cant cover the whole city with something that takes so much energy..."

"No. Protection of this city is not what i require. I want you to create the illusion that it has already been destroyed. Try to make it look like it did after the explosion, before we rebuilt it. You can have the assistance of any of our mages that you need. The invaders will find Varrock devastated, and empty. If all goes correctly, they will think we burned and abandoned it."
"Simple enough," said Lightning.
"Sir," said General Wraith, "If they'll find the city empty... where will we be? You can't possibly be thinking of taking such a large army back to Daemonheim? We wouldn't fit!"
"That is not the plan, either," Said Vorlon. "The Saradominists plan to march on this city this morning, but earlier this morning, we will take Lumbridge. Not by force, but with the help of these people. I'm still wondering what's convinced so many. It amazes me."
Shadow appeared in the wall. "That'd be me, M'lord," He said. "I whispered things around Lumbridge, things I heard in the underground pass. That may have made a contribution to this large response."
"Shadow? I thought you had a body now." said Vorlon.
"I do, but i still like to pop in and out of other rocks... for old times sake."
