Well, an old story-forumer (no names) once mistakenly read my name, "Cicobe1" wrong, and called me "Ciao" for short accidentally. He said that he had always read it wrong, therefore, he wouldn't start to call me "Ciao" from then on.

Then, it started to catch on with everyone else, therefore, that's my nickname. ;)
