-------------
Chapter 24: Planet Hell

After the revealing of Salomon, the man who lied to his comrades about everything. He was revealed to be Raven, the headmaster of the Raven Reapers. But now he has died. Marcello stood firm upon his feet and continued to stared down upon Salomon's face. A blank mask covered his face but sadness clouded his eyes.

Sarah stepped closer to Marcello. She had a look of sadness on her face. "I'm sorry Marcello." she said.

He sighed a breath of grief. "Yeah, so am I." he mumbled. But a gentle smile graced his face. He looked upon his comrade and lifted up his left hand. His thumb lifted up, giving them the thumb's up. "I'm okay, honestly."

A smile grazed on Sarah's face. "Okay." she was happy, as her voice stated.

Janak looked back upon Ba'al. "Do you have the pass-word to open the door?" he questioned.

The Crimson Reaper gazed upon the silver haired young man and shook his head up and down. "Yes, I do." replied Ba'al. He quickly paced to the door, his eyes still remained emotionless and cold. Marcello watched his brother walk over, becoming closer and closer.

Marcello's brother stood a mere inch from the door's face. He closed his crimson red eyes and planted his right hand flat upon the middle of the door. A golden outline formed around his hand and shot to the top of the door. The stone door slowly opened, sliding into the ground.

The Crimson Reaper quickly turned to the others. "Hurry in!" he yelled. Everybody acknowledged his word and rushed into the chamber. They rushed as fast as could as the door started to close. Since Janak was the furthest back, he had to get there now. Sarah and Marcello got in quickly, but Janak was still running.

"Janak!" Sarah yelled. She extended out her hand in front of her. "Come on!" He ran faster as the window came close to closing. He jumped out to grab onto Sarah's hand, and he did. Marcello wrapped his arms around Sarah to help her pull in Janak. Marcello jumps back along with Sarah and Janak is pulled in just in the nick of time.

The door slams shut. A loud bang snapped into the air. Janak's face was in the dirt. And Sarah was on top of Marcello - who's back was against the ground. His brother stood there, looking down upon them. Marcello lets go of Sarah and she got to her feet. She giggled and she extended her hand out to Marcello.

He smiled and grabbed hold of her hand. She pulled him up firmly onto his feet. She then knelled down next to Janak and poked his left shoulder with her right index finger. "Are you okay?" she asked, concerned.

Janak planted his hands onto the dirt and lifted himself up. He shook his head side to side to wake up. He jumped to his feet and wiped the dirt off of his clothes. "I've been better." he replied, but then a happy grin covered his face. "But I'm good." he began to giggle.

The Crimson Reaper gazed upon the long stairs down into the chambers that housed the God's Blood Elixir. Darkness consumed the whole area as one was barely able to see. They heard echoes of themselves bouncing from each of the corners.

Janak lifted his right hand and a ball of fire bursts in his hand. This was their eyes, the lantern in the night. Janak was the first to go as he had the light. He stepped upon the first step on the long way down to the chambers. And steadily, the others followed.

The walls were a tan stone, like ones you would see in the Egypt Pyramids. And their was very little space in between the two walls. They had all different types of drawings on them. It told the history of the creation of the God's Blood Elixir. It was all written in blood. The blood had oozed down to the stairs themselves.

Janak shuffled his eyes left and right looking at these pictures. With each of their steps, the stairs cried out a screech. It shook and quivered, but remained steady. As time passed more and more, as their feet touches down upon more and more stairs, the world around them grew black. It was to the point that the sun in Janak's hand was not enough - that their eyes had faded.

"Damn.." mumbled Marcello. "I can't see a thing!" Janak took a step forward and realized that they were at the bottom. He moved his foot to the left, then to the right. Not seeing that Janak had stopped, Marcello walks right into him. "Ouch! What did you stop?" he yelled.

Janak gulped. A breath of doubt and fear shivered out of his trachea and out his mouth. "Because we're at the bottom." he said.

"Are we?" Sarah questioned, unable to know as she was at the back. Suddenly, the room is lit up torches. One on each of the two walls lit up every second. They were able to see everything, a thin mist that bathe upon the floor, the stones that stack tall from the floor to the top. The very strange pictures of kings and men battling powerful forces known as Gods.

A feeling of uncertainty raced upon everybody's spine. Their eyes were widened, amazed by the power that laid before them. Caskets lined against the walls beside the torches. These were helmed with the names of the previous kings of the Holy Capital, Varrock.

Janak took the first step into the temple. He gulped, unable to begin to understand the importance of the chamber before him. "Look at this place." he said, his voice echoing from each corner of the room.

There was a large door on the northern wall. It reached up to the ceiling and it was covered by symbols of different gods. Zamorak, Saradomin, Guthix, Zaros, Bandos, Armadyl - all of them. The four approached the door, realizing that their enemy was behind this door. Marcello's brother plants his hands flat upon the surface of the door. It growled and hissed with loud roars.

It shook and quaked - until finally it was surrounded by an embrace of light. It disappeared from sight, revealing the enemies they chased after. The God's Blood Elixir, encased by a sapphire blue bottle, was empty in the Angel of Death's hand. A small little drop was all that was left. A smirk grew upon Lev's face that touched the tips of his left cheek.

"Well, aren't we a little too late, eh?" he said.

"Dammit.." mumbled Janak.

"It does not matter." said Ba'al. "He is not invincible."

"I am invincible. I am the only true god who nearly ended this world." replied Abaddon. "And without your false creator - who is going to save you?"

Marcello moved his right hand out in-front of him and it clenched up into a fist. "We don't need to saved. We can defeat you."

A whisper of laughter came from Abaddon. "I beg to differ." He bottled up the Elixir and threw it over to Marcello.

He catches it, but then looks at Abaddon oddly. "Why?"

"So you could at least stand some sort of chance." he turns his back. "I do not wish for the beginning of the rise of a new civilization to be so easy."

Sarah grit her teeth. "Arrogant, are we?" she said.

"I do not grow arrogant, but prepared."

"We'll see who will win, Abaddon!"

Abaddon opened a portal to the Ancient Guthix Temple. "Yes, we shall." Lev and Abaddon enter the portal to the temple. Marcello turned to comrades and with a smile, he shook his head. "Ready everybody?" he questioned.

Janak raised his left hand and gave Marcello the thumbs up. "I've been ready for this moment." he replied, a smile cloaked his face.

Sarah smiled as well. She shook her head up and down. "If this is the end, then I'm ready, willing, and able." she assured.

Marcello glanced upon Ba'al, who shook his head up and down once. "Let us finish this." he said.

Marcello shook his head and placed his hand gently upon the cap of the elixir. He quickly popped it up and a fragrance of blood and death passed into his nostrils and made his senses whiplash. He closed his eyes and sighed. He paused for a moment and then lifted the bottle to his mouth and the liquid slithers down to the other end of the bottle like a snake.

It drips into his mouth and disappears on the tender flesh of his tongue. An immediate surge of power quivered down his body. He felt strong, and growing even stronger. His once loose hands locked into a fist. He breathed in air through his nose and then focuses it out. In this time, his eyes open.

A smirk of confidence brushed across his face. "It's time.." he said, his voice unshakable. "..to finish this." He pointed his right index finger towards the northern wall and a beam blasts from the very tip of it. This beam opens up a portal. Marcello drops his arm back down beside his right side. Everybody rushes towards this portal at full speed.

Meanwhile, as Vezyfher and Arabella continued traveling through the darkness of the storm, familiar faces appeared from the darkness of the fog. A smile graced Arabella's face when she saw Darien and Logan approached. Despite thunder and lighting hammering above their heads, she was smiling and was joyful.

She rushed over to the two. "Darien! Logan!" she yelled, waving to them as she ran.

The elf heard her voice and smiled. Logan glanced over to them and crossed his arms. "Lady Arabella." he said. But something triggered Logan to go on alert. He heard something from afar. "Lady Arabella! Stop!" He rushed as fast as he could over to Arabella to stop her. His footsteps splashed in the puddles that were created by pounding rain.

Milliseconds turned into minutes as the time seemed to slow down for the knight. He rushed faster and faster over to Arabella. When he finally got to Arabella, he quickly pushed her to the ground. Her back bounced against the stone ground hard.

When she glanced back up at Logan, the sight was frightening. A sword piercing right through the heart of the knight, blood rushing down to the ground faster than the rain itself. The sword to the knight's heart was like a stake to a vampire's heart. Both fatal. Darien's and Vezyfher's eyes widened and their jaws stood agape.

"..Lady Arabella.." the knight softly said, his voice shaken. "..are you uninjured?.."

"Yes, but.." she gasped.

A giggle whispered from under his helmet. "You need not worry, Lady Arabella." he coughed out blood from his helmet. "My time has come, and my master calls me." Logan dropped to his knees, his body lifeless. His body then drops backwards. His final feeling of life was feeling the rain hit his helmet and drip onto his face - feeling the rain racing down his skin.

"Tck, tck, tck.." said a voice from the top of a roof. "And I thought the 'Immortal Knight' was able to withstand everything thrown his way." Arabella looked up at where the voice was heard. It was Nyx, the Albali was sitting down on the edge of the roof, her legs dangling down. With her was Lilith, Sendor, and his companion Laros.

"Dammit." mumbled Darien, running over to Arabella. Vezyfher pointed his blade at Sendor and a dart blasts from the chamber of his dart-gun. Sendor sees it coming and quickly swings his blade at the dart, deflecting it. It hits the roof and bounces off to the ground.

Thunder pounds the sky and makes the shake like it was being hit by an earthquake. "Now," whispered from Nyx. She stood to her feet. A smirk of evil intentions wipes across her face. "let's play."

Back with Marcello, Sarah, Janak, and Ba'al. The four entered the temple. A thick mist covered the ground. Big pillars laid collapsed upon the floor. This place seemed to have been forsaken for years - centuries even. A type of thickness was in the air, it was hard to breath. Sarah continued to cough because of this. Janak looked at her and stood beside of her because of this.

"Are you okay?" he asked, concerned.

She shook her head up and down. "Yeah, just the air is very thick." she answered.

The Crimson Reaper looks back at her. "We are getting closer to the Stone of Jas, so that is why." stated Ba'al.

As the four got deeper, closer and closer to the Stone of Jas, something felt bad. Marcello didn't realize it but Ba'al could sense it like blood in water. The area grew darker and darker, felt more and more eerie - until suddenly figures of shadow spawned behind the group. The four turn around and saw these figures. They had their swords and shields ready for the kill.

"Huh? Are these things spirits?" mumbled Marcello.

His brother glances at him. "No - they are creatures of the Orb of Darkness." he answered.

Sarah looks back at the two brothers. "You two go. Me and Janak will handle them." she suggested.

Janak also looks back at the brothers. "Yeah, they don't seem that powerful." he replied. "Go on. We've got 'em."

Marcello shook his head up and down. "Alright." he said. "Be safe." Afterwards, the two brothers rush into the next room. The next room was very overwhelming. The power thickened the air. This room was the very room that housed the Stone of Jas. And before them was Lev and Abaddon.

Marcello quickly drew his Saradomin Sword and gripped it tightly. "It's over Abaddon!" he yelled. "Lay down your arms and surrender!"

Abaddon's back was turned. When he heard Marcello speak, a soft giggle whispered from him. "Ahh, you mortals are indeed foolish." he said, turning around to face the brothers. "But I am afraid to say that it is the end for you, my friends."

Lev laughed. "You guys don't stand a chance. Me and my father will destroy you."

"We'll see about tha-" Marcello was about to start running but Abaddon's voice stopped him.

"But before we fight, there is just one more business that must be finished." he said.

Lev looked at Abaddon with a puzzled look. "Huh?" said the boy. As quickly as a strike from a snake, Abaddon's hand grabs onto Lev's small head. Marcello's eyes widened. "Le-Let him go!" he yelped. Lev was shaking, tears dropped from his eyes. "F-Father..!" he cried, his voice full of so much fear.

Abaddon's grip upon Levs forehead grew. These strange veins appear from Abaddon's eyes. These veins traveled from Abaddon's eyes to his hand. There, the black veins became visible upon Lev's body. They spread all over his small body. His crying ceased, halted as quiet as a winter night. They retracted back into Abaddon's eyes.

The Angel of Death drops the boy's small skull. "..Father.." the boy mumbled so softly. This was his final word upon this world - betrayed by the only man he could call father. His body dropped lifeless upon the stone floor, his body shaking, his eyes rolled to the back of his head.

Marcello was speechless, in totally shock of what has happened. His brother still looked emotionless, but in his eyes you know he was disgusted.

Abaddon glares down upon his enemies. "Now," he mumbled. "shall we begin our waltz?"
