^Ditto.

I chose Sir Lamentar because I think he is the best writer of the three. He has been the most consistent, but he has still been friendly and open. I think he is the most worthy to win, despite his protests, and so I have voted for him.

This is it – the final Writers’ Elimination. After over two months, and seven rounds of writing, we have our three finalists: Sir Lamentar, Nyyrikki V and Xanthian93. Our seven Authors then voted for the winner of the contest based on the record of the three. I have obtained six of the votes, and I can now announce the final placings for what has been an epic contest. I remind everyone that, instead of voting for elimination, we are voting for a winner. I will reveal who voted for who, as well as their reasoning for each vote:

The first vote in the final round, to go towards the count to determine the winner, is from Aeraie, who won the critical third game twist to earn her position in the Authors. I can reveal that the person she voted for is... Sir Lamentar. In doing this, her reasoning was, “His style of writing is very good.”

The second vote was given by Wintry Elf, a standout in the contestants who finished in sixth position. I can reveal that the person he voted for is... Nyyrikki V. He voted for him because of his, “His consistently good entries and effort put into them.”

The third vote was submitted by Archive, who narrowly missed out on the final, and finished in fourth place. I can reveal that the person he voted for is... Nyyrikki V. His given reason for this was, “His entries have been my favourites, and the other contestants got a little disappointing towards the end.”

The fourth vote was from Paccy IV, one of the more unique and innovative contestants who finished in eighth place. She has voted for... Nyyrikki V. Her reasoning for this was, “His entries have been impressive in the time that he figured out what he wanted to do.”

The fifth vote, which could possibly crown the winner outright, is from WolfLord7777, who finished in ninth place in the contest. He has voted, by the reasoning, “I think he is the best writer of the three. He has been the most consistent, but he has still been friendly and open. I think he is the most worthy to win, despite his protests, and so I have voted for him,” for... Sir Lamentar.

The sixth vote is from The Level, the fifth place finisher in the contest. His vote goes to...

...the winner of RuneScape Story Contest #4, Nyyrikki V! Congratulations! As such, you win the dedicated thread (should you wish for me to create it) containing all of your contest entries, and the rank in The Word friends* chat. Level’s reasoning was, “He has won this contest story-wise. I loved his time-travel one. Lamentar does not deserve my vote, as he has not posted this round.”

The final vote count for this round is as follows:
Sir Lamentar: 2
Nyyrikki V: 4
Xanthian93: 0

This means that the final standings for the entire contest are:
1st: Nyyrikki V
2nd: Sir Lamentar
3rd: Xanthian93
4th: Archive
5th: The Level
6th: Wintry Elf
7th: Ogdred
8th: Paccy IV
9th: WolfLord7777
10th: Dieidiot0
11th: Raschilat
12th: L-U-T-O
13th: Hooded
14th: Capt Chekaka

Again, congratulations to Nyyrikki V! I will be in contact with Dreamweaver to get your rank, as well as with you to work out the dedicated thread prize. Thank you to everyone who has participated in this mammoth contest, and I hope to see more stories from you all in the future.

A shame that no one decided to vote for me. Oh well. I had fun in this contest. Sorry that I had to go on tour. I know that made things a little difficult, but I am glad I was still able to participate all the way through. Thank you. :)
