In a burst of flame, Zamorak appeared in the large cavern his followers had dug out under the dwarven mines. Turning to Hazeel, he asked, “So, what was this important discovery you wanted me to see?”
“Take a look for yourself, my lord,” said Hazeel, motioning to the center of the cavern.
Zamorak looked and found himself staring at a larger-than-life statue of a demon.
“A statue?!” he exclaimed, “You called me down here to see a statue?!”
“No, my lord,” replied Hazeel, “Get a better look.”
Zamorak sighed and moved closer. It was at that moment he noticed the incredible power emanating from the “statue.”
“Wait,” he gasped, “Is this?”
“It is one of the four ancient demons,” announced Bilrach, “The four that were so powerful that each was said to lay entire countries to waste.”
“No wonder HE was so confident about this,” muttered Zamorak. In a louder voice he added, “Excellent work, how long until we have it free?”
“Well, the spell on it turned it into stone, Lord Zamorak,” commented Enakhra. “And it appears to be a spell cast by a race with even greater understanding of magic than our own. Still, Bilrach and I are working on a way to undo this spell. We estimate we should be able to have this demon free within the week.”
“So, in a week then,” mumbled Zamorak, “I can't wait to see the look on Zaros' face when I release this and send it straight at Senntisten. Soon, Zaros will be no more! And I won't have to listen to idiotic statements about “lucky shots” ever again!”
