With this statement, a green bolt of lightning struck the lone green chair within the room, and when it gave way in its place was a tall middle-aged man; although whether the being could truly be called a 'man' was debatable. He towered at nearly seven feet, and possessed blue hair and yellow-green eyes, while his skin was a dark red that looked more in place on a demon than something with human features. Unlike his two companions, he wore armor, made from an odd sort of green crystal.
“Oh, Arc,” sighed Amethyst, displeasure emanating from his voice, “You're here.”
“It's Emerald now,* said the newcomer.
“I do not know how you managed to do the impossible and kill the previous holder of that name,” said Amethyst, “But the act of doing so does not make you an Endless Witch, even if a certain nosy witch has given you her approval as one. Likewise, I have no idea how you managed to achieve immortality, but I am very certain it was not by your own power.”
“You're just jealous of Emerald's awesomeness,” retorted the girl.
Amethyst raised an eyebrow at this statement and asked, “Is that so?”
“Yes it is,” replied the girl.
Amethyst smiled to himself and said, “Well, Ruby, since you invited a new player for this game, I thought I would do likewise.”
At this statement, Ruby's eyes grew large and she questioned, “It's not HER is it?! Amethyst... You actually did it didn't you? Well, Fu-”
“No profanity Ruby, Witch of Dynamism, it isn't civil,” said a new voice, this one also a lady's. As this voice spoke, blue writing appeared over one of the three blue chairs, and soon formed into a woman. She had long, white hair, and pale blue eyes, and wore a formal dress made with cloth in varying shades of blue. Pinned to her shirt was a star made of sapphires, and she, more than any of the other four held herself with dignity and grace.
“Sapphire, the rule hag,” hissed Ruby.
“By which you mean the Witch of Decrees,” commented Amethyst.
"He appears in the Form of a Man with many Countenances; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one."
