“Who in the nine hells is he?!” questioned Chris.
“Well, I suppose I can tell you insects, in recognition of the wound you gave me,” sighed the young man, “My name is Setkul, remember it, since I’m sure we’ll meet again… in your case Weva, very soon.”
“Why did you attack Taverly?” asked Jayson.
“I did*’t,” replied Setkul.
“What?” asked Jayson.
“If you don’t believe me, why not ask the survivors?” suggested Setkul, “They should be hiding out in the mountain dwarf pass… at least if they listened to me.”
“Wait, what are you-?” Jayson was cut off as the young man vanished before their eyes.
*That guy…” Weva muttered under her breath.
“Lady Weva!” The Zarosian leader turned to find a breathless messenger staring at her.
“What is it?” Weva snapped, “Can’t you see I’m busy?”
“A message from Parsis,” gasped the messenger, “Apparently, a fifth Scion is on Gielinor now, and Parsis wants you to find him.”
“Scion?” questioned Weva, “Like the children of chaos, law, light, and darkness? There’s a fifth?”
“Well, the Child of the Void is actually considered to be first,” said the messenger.
“Child… of the Void?!” questioned Weva, “Would such a person by chance want the world to return to the Void?”
“In theory, yes,” replied the messenger, “Why?”
“You should’ve been here five minutes ago!” shouted Weva, “Then I would have already have completed my mission, but you decided to dawdle!”
“Eh, what?” asked the messenger.
“Go back to Senntisten and ask Parsis for a description of the Child of the Void so I can be sure,” hissed Weva.
“But I just ran all the way here from Senntisten, can*t I rest?” protested the messenger.
“Now!* shouted Weva, in a tone that made it clear that if the messenger decided to rest, he would be resting for a very very long time.
After the messenger took off, Weva turned to her soldiers. “Come on!” she ordered, “Back to Ardougne!” "He appears in the Form of a Man with many Countenances; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one."
