A rubric is a blank template from which I will conclude your grade. For example, the following is a rubric:
Name: /5
Spelling: /5
Grammar: /5
Total: /15
I ask, however, that you use the rubric I have provided in post 5.

Yes. You will fill out the rubric before I do: I must know the level at which you think your story is before I can rate it. If your total is a 23%, I will not grade as harshly as if you graded yourself a 98%. I will also use your own assessments for a separate project.
You will be filling in the rubric, but you need not type a full response to your story. The latter is my job, the former is your job every time you even contemplate writing for your story.
