The Human Race

More of a song thing, but meh.

We know who we are
We know what we’ve done
We know it was our doing
We know we’re the bad ones
But we’re still fighting
To stay in denial
Yeah, yeah
We know what we’ve done
We know what we’ve done
You ruined all the fun
Now you’ll be undone
We can make you shunned
So maybe you should’ve run.
Run farther, run faster
Run until he’s smashed her.

--- A Christmas Poem ---

It's a cold, snowy night
As the fire throws off light
And children whisper their plight
On this year's Christmas Eve.

All inside safe and warm
Expecting beyond the norm
The world in sleeping form
Waiting on Christmas Eve.

Reindeer pull the sleigh
Saint Nick is on his way
Bringing joy on Christmas Day
The Day after Christmas Eve.

---

Merry Christmas to all. :)

-Sickens-

It sickens me.
How oblivious you all can be.
I don't want to go home tonight.
Take me where I belong.
Not the dingy corner of my room.
Curled up with these dense tears.
No one asks.
No one cares.

Scream.
Yell.
Yes, it will crush me.
Fight.
Destroy.
See right through me.
Smiles.
Lies.
This is not okay.
This was never okay.

It's good to know you can act the part.
Your facade disappears when the closed doors
become ours.
It's good to know that deep down you care.
Ignite each dark thought with your angered
flares.

Take me where I belong.
Take me home.
Take me where I belong.
Take me home.

-Regret-

His head hung so low,
I'm surprised it never
fell off,
I always thought to
question,
but never dared to
ask,
if he could use a hug,
or a warm smile.
Too caught up in myself,
after a while I didn't
notice he was gone,
but the mumurs
in the halls
let the guilt build,
even though I was
never cruel to him
I was never nice either.

-the hunger-
I dream of the days of old,
of succulant flavors upon my lips;
this thirst i crave has left me cold,
an unbearable hunger through me rips
at a cold liquids touch;
the taste i crave is never found,
of what i ask is this too much?
i seek a taste that shall astound;
no drink nor food soothes the beast,
its craivings i fear shall overpower;
it seeks the most pecuilar feast;
soon its agression will make me cower,
and so i ponder on this equisite taste,
and hope to find it with much haste;
to soothe the beast in due time,
this feeling that overcomes me;
i wish it to be gone some way,
but i fear that i shall not soon see;
this my most bequested day.

just a quick poem i made...

THE TREES

There is unrest in Gielnor,
There is trouble with the trees,
For the maples want more sunlight
And the oaks ignore their pleas.

The trouble with the maples,
(And they're quite convinced they're right)
They say the oaks are just too lofty
And they grab up all the light.
But the oaks can't help their feelings
If they like the way they're made.
And they wonder why the maples
Can't be happy in their shade.

There is trouble in the forest,
And the creatures all have fled,
As the maples scream "Oppression!"
And the oaks just shake their heads

So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights.
"The oaks are just too greedy;
We will make them give us light."
Now there's no more oak oppression,
Jagex passed a noble law,
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet, axe, and saw.
