Humans: They are ruled by lots of different people, each major human city has a Lord looking over the land and at the main capital is the High King or just the King.
The king is a long line of royal blood lines stretched throughout each lord that governs each city that humans control.
Current Leader, is Malik Ironbeard the third. The longest living king. Called a tyrant at times, he has assembled a great force. His private guard the black knights which they are often called. There word is law, they are above all the lords in the land. They wear black armor crafted by demonic means. They are show heavy resistance to magic and their weapons cut through magical wards.

Dwarves- Dwarves are split up into clans. Several dozen clans, producing one leader is rather difficult for dwarves. Dwarves have a single King the king's power is that of a king but it is just military power that the dwarf king has.
Dwarves are ran by a council of clan leaders where they appoint the king. They vote on it for months after each kings death. A certain number of votes in the conicel are required to make a dwarven king.
Dwarven clans are treated like nobles, whether the clan is warrior based, blacksmiths and what not it doesn't matter. Not being in a clan and a dwarf in dwarven cities is like not existing to the clans. Commonly called Castless or Clanless, they are ignored by dwarven laws. They are treated just like surface dwarves. Going to the surface for a dwarf means they are giving up their name or place in the clans. Surface dwarves are treated better then castless ones but not but much. During special times this is ignored normally when the dwarven lords or the king go meet with the other kings of the land of other races or invited to other occasions. Or times of war.
Dwarves armies are rather large, they attack in large numbers especially if they are warring with larger foes.
Elves- Elves are different a king doesn't mean the same to them as other races. They have about twenty kings. At least one king for each race of Elves. Its more of a council they are normally the oldest elves or the 'wisest'.
Each group of elves, should they be dark, wood, high or any other of the large sub race of elves have different ways of appointing their leaders. Some only pick females, some the oldest, others the most skilled. Being one of the fastest races they attack.
Elves have the most skilled armies and some say the most brutal as they don't stop until there is either peace or an end.

Gnomes- Gnomes leadership is defined by three kings a tribunal that oversee all of the gnomes.
Gnome armies they don't fight wars or battles like other races they use projectile weaponry and magic more then any other race. They are inventers building gliders, clockwork planes and other stuff that these gnomes build. They also fight with lots of traps

Goblins- Goblins don't have any real leader, they live in tribes. If they want a leader normally they kill to become the leader or find a shiny treasure of power to make themselves the leader of their tribes

Orcs- Orc leaders depending on the kind of orcs. If they are those who are 'civilized' they mimic humans with goblins ideas of the strongest is the leader. The primal tribes generally the one who is the most brutal is their leader
Armies Orc armies are limited by the other races but they have been known to be the most dangerous armies in Dragonfalls past As orcs can breed fast and age to maturity fast they are horrifying to fight in wars. They are stronger then humans, dwarves and some elves. They use to have a war mentality that they use to try and prove they are the strongest race.
Fairies- All form of leadership was destroyed long ago, most fairies are independent and protected by the elves. While the oldest Fairies might have small little leaders
Fairies don't have any real armies as they are rather peaceful in nature but they can fight with their tiny weapons.

Ogres- They have chieftains basically the strongest and biggest Ogre is the chieftain.
They do have armies but nothing organized as they aren't smart enough to create an organized army.

Angelic beings- Their leadership and armies are unknown to most of dragonfall they never get involved in any war.

Demons- Leadership in demons is normally never true, they are the most devious race. They always lie and betray each other but there is a chain. Lesser demons from imps and other less like demons. Greater demons, the stronger bigger demons, Archdemons the strongest of demons and the Demon Lords.
Demon Lords normally control everything less then them, from archdemons to the little imps. Arch demons control greater and lower. Greater demons rarely control anything. Lessers have nothing they control. All demons are looking to strengthen themselves and raise them above what they are.
Demonic Armies are feared. As demons are normally used like mercenaries in dark groups but a Demon army is a fear of most residences of Dragonfall. Demons are always trying to get into dragonfall whether physically or by using their consciousness to possess living bodies of weak minded individuals or people who open themselves up to them foolishly. They try to split open portals to let armies through when ever they can.
All the races in Dragonfall have a little bit of history with each other, Wars have been fought time and time again.
One of the earliest wars was between the dwarves and Elves. Not much is known other then it ended with dwarves staying underground and forcing anyone coming to the surface to live to be forced out of their clans.
Dwarves and Elves normally help each other from time to time in times of crisis. Humans are mistrusted by some of the oldest families and clans of the dwarves and elves.
The Dragon crusade- At one time in Dragonfall there were three sentient dragons. They believed that all other races should kneel and worship dragons. They went to war, using drakes, wyverns ,smaller dragons, and controlling the minds of some of the earliest orcs
This war left Dragonfall changed, creating deserts and wastelands where there should be grasslands and forests. This was the first war that most of the races worked together. Humans, elves, dwarves, gnomes and other races threatened by the three dragons forces. Two out of the three dragons were killed. One slain by an Elf, the other by a dwarf who's clan still holds the role of king.
The last dragon was defeated by a human. It was the great great, great, great grandfather of the current king of the humans. The dragon was trapped inside a mountain, which legend says it is still stuck there chained down prevented from leaving by elven magic's.

Orc rebellions- the most recent war that has been fought, which takes place 150 years before the start of rp.
Millions of Orcs trying to wipe out all other races, lead by a Orc leader known as the Grey Maul. His weapon was a monstrous maul, he lead these Orcs into slaughtering thousands of elves, humans, dwarves, and anything else. Malik Ironbeard the third, the current human king, killed Grey Maul.
Malik known for conspiring with demons lead to the creation of his Black knight guard, one hundred knights exactly were used to slaughter through three thousand orcs and the biggest orc Grey Maul killed by Malik himself. Only three knights were killed, in the final assault. Malik took Grey Maul's weapon and head then declared himself High King over all. The power and deal Malik made with the demons he conspired with are unknown, but everyone fears the Black Knights and the king as after this day he became a tyrant that wont age.

Current - Seems that a threat of war is starting up as Malik declaring himself ruler over the other races. Even some of his lords are questioning whether Malik's motives. As he is forcing lots of laws over the land. All magic users must register or be imprisoned or executed. Large taxes in the major cities leaving those without money forced to leave or executed.
Going through ancient protected elven forests and chopping them down, stressing relations between humans and elves. Going through mines and strip mining of gems and metal, breaking down walls and collapsing cities of dwarves while doing this mining. Straining that relations.
Assaulting a Black Knight means a death sentence. The same with disobeying them, or crossing them in a wrong way. They do what they want when they want and if someone gets in their way, they don't stay there for long.
Malik Ironbeard the third- The human high king. Has lived for one hundred and fifty years and hasnt aged a day since he turned twenty

Kyloth the Dark One- The last Dragon from the dragon crusade that is locked away in a mountain. Bound in chains and locked in by magic. It has Black scales, one of the few black dragons, around. It is massive in side as the older a dragon gets the bigger they get. The should the dragon ever get free from the mountain it would be the size of about four castles
