Now that most of the work for Your First Story is complete, we have to move onto the next step, aside from processing and touching up selections. Both Poller and myself will deal with FAQ for each section, but we need help to make it our version that is stickied and not a Jagex-made one. Also, we hope for this sticky to be *unlocked* so that we may answer questions and help others thoroughly.
We believe that a forumer-owned sticky will draw more attention because we can relate more to the public audience we are trying to reach. We can help people that have questions because we are very active, and we can help the forum as a whole, which, if a mod stickies this with their own version, they could not give the same.
So, to help our cause, post your support to sticky our version of the Your First Story guide on the RSB. Please make it known that you support the finished copy, which will be posted upon completion. By drawing together a lot of support, we can accomplish this.
When posting your support, please make sure to post your reasoning! Craddock and other mods won't accept a bunch of supports, tell them that this will helps\ the forum and then say that you support that this thread should be stickied under Poller's and my own control. Explain the support. We don't have a poll or anything up there. So just saying "Support" will go unnoticed. We need a descriptive reasoning to truly help us.

I, Theturk55, fully support the fact that "Your First Story" should be a sticky on the Stories Forum. Two reasons have broughten me to this decision, and I will name them.

1. The Stories Forum used to be a wonderful community filled with talented writers and amazing poets. As time passed, those days slowly faded, and a generation of, "Noob Stories" has taken place. Now, I do not have anything against Noob Stories as I am a writer of them myself, but the fact that they are too many with, "lol u no wat" or constant spam, it has eaten away at the once great talents of the Stories Forum. With Your First Story as a sticky, new writers would gain a great amount of help in a writing ways.
From description to mechanics and plot to characters, Your First Story offers everything to help each new writer as much as they can. This would be great way to improve the Stories Forum.

2. Even for writers who are not new but seek improvement, Your First Story is there to help.

I, User_Rc101, agree with Theturk55. I think it is safe to say I fully support Capt Chekaka and Poller5's decision to try to make 'Your First Story' a forum sticky.
This Forum holds talented authors, be they new or experienced. If this thread was to be transformed into a Sticky many new authors would be more likely to click on this awesome thread. This guide contains knowledge on almost every literary subject conceivable from a whole group of RSF's authors. This thread would be a helpful and reliable sticky to most all authors who step foot in this Forum.
In short, I agree 110%

yes, this guide is awesome! there are plenty of player made stickys, in off topics, and skills especially i think, and this one deserves to be a sticky also, i read this guide, and it really helped me with my writing =), as Theturk55 said, now all there is in the forums are noob stories...

I support your effort to make this a player run sticky Capt. This will be a valuable asset to the forums and will aid any new author who comes here to write. And to help any old authors to come here and update themselves on anything they need to know or ask question.
I almost sounded like Yrolg there...
