Being laid off from my job was a blessing in disguise. I was working far too hard and giving you far too little attention. To be honest, I still sometimes blame myself for what happened. I know that it's unlikely, but I could have done more, I feel. Not a night goes by that I don't lay awake at night thinking about it.
