As Vlad walked along for an astonishingly lengthy five steps down the cave path, he suddenly heard a screech, followed by rapid footfall.
“O, Yezus Maria!” Vlad shouted with a jump upon hearing that sudden, powerful screech, hearing its rushing footfall; he even wet himself with a few drops but managed to hold everything else in.

It soon stopped before Vlad with its back facing him. Enough light was cast from the torches to illuminate the creature's appearance. It was seven feet tall, had arms down to its knees, no nose, had empty eye sockets with leaked dried blood, no ears, and a mouth possessing teeth. It wore nothing but a loin cloth, suggesting that it came from a primitive culture, and more of them could be in the cave. What exactly it was was anybody's guess, but it had pale skin. It then looked at Vlad, though whether it could see or not perhaps was up to speculation.

Instinctively, Vlad tried to grab a torch, planning to throw it at the monster, but he accidentally put his hand into the flame and slightly burned himself, pulling his arm back and skipping on one foot for a second. He grabbed the torch again, this time not touching the fire, and tried to pull it out, but to no avail. He tried wrenching it with both hands but continued to be unsuccessful, making him angry and upset. He felt his hands get weak and shaky, bones feeling as though they were made of jelly.

The creature seemed to not notice Vlad, having only just appeared and then stopped. It was obviously blind, but probably had good hearing. Regardless of what it was, the sharp teeth, elongated arms and immense height made it a thoroughly intimidating thing to behold.

Vlad tried not looking at the monster, keeping his gaze low when it looked at him, breathing slowly and audibly, wondering what to do. He looked around for a rock or something, anything, but had nothing, not even a cellphone. He unzipped his hoody, feeling his blood pressure rise and sweat forming under the arms, the zip audibly sounding.

“Some big monkey escaped for the zoo.” Vlad said to himself, trying to minimize superstition, and looked around for something.

Unable to find anything suitable to use as a projectile, and now scared and angry at the same time, he could not think straight, wanting to run, but at the same time, unable to understand the situation. He did not know whether he was dreaming or what.

“Am I dreaming or what?” Vlad asked himself, voice slightly echoing, “This had to be dream!” He continued, and then did the most logical thing: without thinking, he harked up mucous from the back of his throat and spat at the creature, to see if that'd do anything.

The hunk of yuckiness seemed to be flying towards one of the creature's eye sockets; Vlad stood where he was upright, loosely but tall, wondering what was going to happen.

Lillian plucks an orange-and-black spider from her cheekbone the moment she awakens, holding it unconcernedly above her face between thumb and forefinger. The spider is thrown with a tense, snapping incline of her wrist, sinking into a thorny, leafy thicket.

“Disgusting,”
she grumbles sleepy-headedly, fidgeting. Twigs and branches buried by shrubbery snap beneath her palms as she eases into a sit.

Thorns jab at Lillian’s feet in her sprawl, and buds of blood well at an ankle. Her pale-lipped frown exhales a grunt, and her face shrivels into an expression that implies discomfort.

Rising, Lillian peers past a shoulder and ventures into dim, dim forestry. Canopies overhead blot out the sun, and their leaves and branches leave behind only fringes of light. Trunks of weatherworn bark stretch skywards into long, endless foliage.

"What was I drinking last night?”

((Can I get a summary of everything that has happened so far please? Thank you. :) )

Tyler fell, wide-eyed at the feeling of something grabbing at his ankle. As he hit the ground he turned to see what was holding onto his ankle. *What the f-“, started as he saw the creepy skeletal appendage grasping his leg. Propping his upper body up with his hands, he began kicking with his free foot in an attempt to scrap the hand off while pulling back with the caught leg. Once free he would scramble to his feet and make a break for the edge of the desert.

“I… I just…” Asia began before pausing, he mouth aghast. There was just so much hostility. A cold sweat ran down her brow – could it be that he a captive like her? How could she tell? After all, how did this man have her number – and, come to think about it, how did she have his?

Slapping her cheek lightly, she caressed her cheek, all the while inhaling a deep breath. ~Stay calm, Asia…~

“… Are you… you’re trapped here too, aren't you?" Asia said quietly, assuming of course Kyle had the patience to let her speak.

Asia

There was a pause on the other end, until finally Kyle answered. "Yes..." He said, sounding confused. "If 'here' is a foggy forest where I can't see two feet in front of me... what the hell?" There was splashing on the other end.

-----

Kyle

One minute Kyle had been trudging through a fog-shrouded forest, the next he was ankle deep in a lake. He looked around, expression incredulous as a slight fear creeped up his spine. Then, he turned back towards the fog, which now looked very similar to a wall. He reached out to touch it, and his hand glided through easily.

Then, he looked at the ground. It was as if an imaginary line had been drawn between the grass and the water. There wasn't even a beach.

"Why... is the edge of this lake a perfectly straight line?" Kyle suddenly asked nervously, the the question was directed more at his surroundings than at Asia.

If Asia looked around, she would actually be able to see Kyle standing way off in the distance

---

Vlad

"Some big monkey escaped from a zoo."

The creature had been just about to turn away, but then its head shot back to face Vlad. It took one big, lumbering step towards him and with each step began to speed up, as Vlad rambled on and on about whether or not he was dreaming. Eventually it broke into a jog, charging at Vlad with its hands outstretched.

And then a glob of mucous struck it square in the eye.

Instinctively, its hands flew back to cover its face, but it did not stop. The creature would then barrel straight into Vlad, knocking him to the ground, although it did not press the advantage. Instead it stood there with its fingers in its eye socket, trying to wipe the yucky goo out. For now, it was distracted.

---

Lillian

Aside from the occasional spider or exotic bird, it would seem as though Lillian was completely alone in the jungle. Until...

"Hello!?"
Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

A young man came trudging out of the bushes. He looked to be nineteen, with long black hair and some stubble for facial hair. His eyes were a dark brown colour, and his skin was tanned. For clothing, he had a red T-shirt, some black jeans, and a pair of blue sneakers. The look on his face was one of confusion.

Then he quickly snapped out of it and babbled out some sort of explanation.

"I... woke up in some sort of rocky area. There was this desert nearby and a jungle, but it made no sense... they both looked perfectly square..." He paused. "Do you know where I am?"

-----

Gavin

After a few minutes of walking through the forest, Gavin would eventually find his way out... and step right onto a desert. Suddenly it went from being cold to hot, and off in the distance he would see a man running from... something? There was also another forest to his right, covered in fog instead of snow.

-----

Tyler

Surprisingly enough, it would only take one kick to break out of the hand's grip, although it would feel as though the hand let go voluntarily.

By the time Tyler had gotten back to his feet, an entire arm had found its way out of the ground. And as he turned to run, a sand and cloth-covered head would burst out from the ground. If Tyler turned around, he would see the upper torso of a mummy pulling itself out of the sand.

Eventually it would climb out of the hole completely, reach back down, pull out a bronze sword, and pursue him at a brisk walking speed.

Several minutes later, if Tyler was still running, the mummy would only be a small brown dot on the horizon, and he was almost into the foggy forest. But just out of the corner of his eye, he would see another man step out of the snowy forest to his right. Gavin...

Vlad

The big monkey had charged Vlad, perhaps offended by being called a big money. Vlad did not even notice the thing moving; perhaps it was the darkness and lack of modern lighting, or Vlad's lack of insight. Fortunately, his spat projectile went into an eye socket, but nevertheless, the beast tackled into Vlad and knocked him over; he grunted upon that, feeling the back of his head, shoulders and spine smack onto the cave floor, pain rushing up his spinal cord. Understandably, the monster then put a finger in its eye, to get that yuck out of itself.

This was when Vlad's hooliganism became useful. He had been beaten up in the past and could go beyond sudden fear and pain, reacting with aggression. He swung his steel-toed boot upwards into the monster's crotch, and then pushed-kicked into the groin while still on his back, intending to push it away slightly.

If able, Vlad would then get up, and resort to stomping into the front of a kneecap to try and dislocate the beast's knee. The heavy steel-toed work boots and powerful stomp may do the trick...
