I have played this game since May of 2005 and I have always dreamed of having a lot of money. An unreachable goal for me. Especially when what was considered a lot kept going up.

For years I played, never really ever getting to more than 50m at a time hardly to 20m. Three years ago, my clan had a small competition with clues. Who ever did more would win.

During that competition I reached my first ever 75m, mainly from easy clues. I quickly went through it because I kept buying bonds for membership. Remember this was before clue items started going up.

In 2 years ago, my best friend for more than 10 years from the game let me borrow over 150m from her so we could Max for the first time together on my birthday. So once again I strived for a godly amount of gold so I could pay her back. We maxed together on October 22, when I turned 22.

Time went on and I struggled. I took a long break between August and December of last year, coming back in January and remaxing because of invention.

I started farming clues left and right and again reached over 80m. Against I spent it on bonds.


For many years, even before the tracking of clues, I wanted to get a 3rd Age item or Dye from a clue after my best friends got 2 dyes and a 3rd age in less than 50 clues.

And finally! After so many years... So many clues.... I got a Shadow Dye! And for the first time ever I hit over 500m and my first every 1b. After so much struggle of making money because I was never really a PvMer or good at it.

Now you may think it was from a clue, but no. On October 31st, 2017 a few minutes after reset I went to the Giant Oyster. Where everything began for me in 2005.

And that is how I got a Shadow Dye. I made 1b in the very place I started the game 12 year later! Now I can pay my best friend back and actually get good gear! Did I mention I also picked up my first ever 1m from behind Falador on my birthday in 2007?

All hail the Giant Oyster! Come the Sixth-Age, the world will need the World Guardian.
