Well hello there Accepted. I wonder if you remember me.. '30K Dusts = 99 Attack = INSANE' ring a bell..?
I have a little tale to tell. As you probably know, I had quit playing RuneScape (mainly because my laptop was so slow, I was getting nothing done), but my thread lived on. I had ran out of membership, but regularly checked it, and was delighted to see people still posting on it. It was a sad time when I saw you close it, and even worse not to be able to post to everyone to say thank you.
Although.. I did return to RuneScape briefly in May/June, to finally achieve 99 Attack! However I did succumb to using bandits for the last four levels. ^_^
However, after finally achieving my unachievable goal, I felt lost, and let my membership expire. I stocked up on Maple Logs, and had enough for 99 Firemaking. I was slowly managing it in F2P, but I decided to become a member again, because I did miss it after all.
All was going well, I had met old friends, and I was enjoying RuneScape, but after the first few days of becoming a member again, I was hacked. And had virtually everything dropped/sold on my account.
However, this only made me more determined to reclaim what was mine. So I took up Slayer once again, and fell in love with it again. I started to make money back and also levelled a fair bit combat wise; I was doing well.
I then had the goal of going for 85 Slayer and 99 Strength, to achieve a dual goal simultaneously. But to do that I needed roughly an extra 500,000 Strength experience. So I decided to kill Green Dragons, mainly because I was after all, still quite poor. :P
All was going well, but after 250,000 experience there, I was very bored, and yearned for Slayer once again. My current assignment happened to be Dust Devils.. I went back to my faithful camping site, and after a few kills, lo and behold; I had my first Dragon Chainbody! Only after 23,000 Dust Devils killed!
Now it's present tense, and I have no space left. ^_^
