I mean, hi Soul!

I feel personally that the Veteran Capes (5/10/15 year) shouldn't -officially- be a requirement due to the fact that...well.... you can't personally speed up the time for them.

I rarely view the forums so yell at me in PM/the FC if needed.

The stuff in the POH costume room is mostly a for fun goal, since it's re-completable (you can buy and sell treasure trails items, ect), same with the item pets; and yea, the Veteran capes aren't an 'official' req, exactly because of that^^. They'll undoubtedly release a 20 year, 25 year, ect cape and for those who didn't start at the beginning of the game, will remain impossible to get. Always appreciate the feedback!
