Greetings! I'm
Zamorak Soul
, and welcome to my own True Trim list, started after trimming on
3/10/17
. I've always been big into accomplisments, and Trim Comp just hasn't felt completed enough. The original structure and inspiration of this list is based from my favorite True Trim list, by
Mr Frosty
, whose thread can be found here! This list is based from his thread, with many additional requirements I've personally added as well as cross-refereced from other True Trim lists.

Feel free to use this thread to reference for your own True Trim list or even if you're just looking for something to do. I update the list often to make sure it includes as many achievements in game as currently possible!

True Trim is the player-made list of everything in game that they feel should be included in completion of the game, beyond the capes of accomplishment. As such, these lists will vary in criteria, but still tend to include a vast amount of small and large accomplishments that capes like MQC or Trimmed Completionist don't include.


Requirements will be color coded in the following ways:

Completed requirement

Started, but not completed

Not started

Rules

True Trim, being an unofficial achievement and has no specific measurements, will vary from player to player on what they feel constitutes a requirement. These are the rules that my list will generally be based on:


•Completeable/non-repeatable


•No RWT

(No Treasure Hunter/Solomons, ect, that has to be purchased with IRL money or bonds)


•No seasonal or discontinued requirements

(Nothing such as holiday events that cannot be obtained after the event has ended)


•Items may be included, but must be an untradeable, and be a prestigious or
'earned' item

(For example, having to craft attuned crystal armor)


•For an activity with more than one tier of reward, only the highest tier reward will be included.

(For example, Castle Wars has 4 tiers of armour, only Profound will be included)


Some things listed here are not *official* requirements, such as completing the POH costume room, 5/10/15 year veteran capes, and growing all item pets. However, I have listed them because they have a sense of achievement or personal goal.

Keystones of True Trim

Due to the rapidly evolving nature of True Trim's list and the newly extensive nature of the achievements system, I have decided to simplify the True Trim List process by condensing some of the major prerequisites for True Trim down into Keystone Requirements in 2021. Since True Trim seeks to go above and beyond the core achievements of the game, it did not make sense to me to maintain a detailed list of all the lower-end endgame achievements, as when going for True Trim it is understood that these core game goals have already been achieved. Therefore, I present the Keystone Achievements, condensing down the first couple pages of my List into one post. This will also simplify future edits and requirements in keeping this list up-to-date.


Unlock and Maintain the Completionist Cape

Unlock and Maintain the Trimmed Completionist Cape

Unlock and Maintain the Master Quest Cape


With this update, I will also be going through my list and removing some of the True Trim entries that are tied to Achievements, as the Achievement system provides an easy in-game way to track these accomplishments and the overall Max Runescore goal will cover their completion. Some detailed entries/lists that I wish to use for tracking, such as collection logs or lists of pets, etc. will remain.
