This afternoon, I won three huge XP lamps and three medium XP lamps from the Santa's Grotto promo. I rubbed the huge lamps to gain Attack, Defence, and Strength XP. I used all three of the medium lamps to gain Constitution XP.
I needed one more medium lamp to equal the huge lamps, so I opened two blue presents. I found 2 medium lamps, plus a Papaya Fruit, 4 Yule Logs, 50 oddments, and 50 tight springs. I used these lamps to gain Constitution and Runecrafting XP.
Later this afternoon, I brought Postie Pete 3,400 pieces of Christmas wrapping paper, after I had completed today's Daily Challenges in Fletching, Thieving, and Crafting. I carved and strung six yew shieldbows in Lumbridge. Next, I pickpocketed a man six times in Lumbridge Market. Then I crafted five leather shields from cowhides I gathered in Burthorpe.
Postie Pete gave me 3 white presents, 11 blue presents, and 3 purple presents. He handed me an additional blue present for free.
I did not open any of the white presents or any more blue presents. I now have 126 white presents and 175 blue presents in my backpack.
The 3 purple presents contained:
5,000,000gp
A Snow Cape token
A large XP lamp
2 large BXP stars
500 oddments
100 silverhawk down
I used the large stars to gain Firemaking BXP.
I used the large XP lamp to reach 81 Crafting.
Love,
Kat

Two months have passed since my last journey to the island of Ashdale. Although I have been busy with my training and the holiday festivities, my lost past is never far from my thoughts. Tonight I teleported to the Ashdale lodestone and made my way towards the docks at the southern end of the island - the place where I saw what appeared to be a ghostly figure...or was it? At the time, I was unsure.
As usual, the village streets were deserted. At least, for the most part. Shortly after my arrival, I encountered an old woman who said her name is Magda. She claims to be a mystic. Magda spoke to me about the various lands of Gielinor, and told me a little about Guthix, Saradomin, and Zamorak. She also said she saw great potential in me, but did not elaborate.
I headed further south and soon found myself on the docks. The air was cold and bitter, but I barely noticed. I stared out at the dark waters, waiting for some sort of sign. I waited for quite some time. I am not sure how long. Then I spotted movement near the edge of the dock. A thick cloud of mist shimmered about five feet above the water. As I watched it, the cloud floated straight towards me. It passed through me, and I felt a strange warmth.
The cloud of mist picked up speed as it flowed north. I ran to follow it. Several times, when the cloud began to get too far ahead of me, it slowed down, allowing me to catch up. Then it sped up again. There was no question. The cloud wanted me to follow it.
I chased the cloud through the quiet streets of Ashdale. We continued north, then headed west. Suddenly, the cloud stopped moving to hang in the air next to a campfire being tended to by old Ned and another man, Digory. The cloud then began to swirl in place, faster and faster, until it resolved itself into the ghostly form of a middle-aged woman with short wavy hair, dressed in elegant clothing.
The two men fled from the ghost. I stayed to confront it. I needed answers.

The ghost looked upon me. I studied this ghost in turn. The woman's face was one I had not recalled seeing before, yet somehow she seemed oddly familiar. This is a common occurrence for me. I often encounter creatures and places as I travel Gielinor that feel familiar, yet brand new to me. Even so, I felt a very strong connection here. I sensed no danger from this ghost. Arteria was strapped to my back, yet I knew I would need no weapon on this occasion.
I said to the ghost, "Hello! Can you understand me? My name is Kat. Kat Stryke." The ghostly female smiled. It is possible the ghost could indeed understand my words. Did she know me?
The ghost started to move her lips, as if to speak. Then, she suddenly turned to look behind her. I saw nothing behind her, aside from the cliffs leading to the ocean below. When the ghost turned back to face me again, there was a moment when she appeared concerned. Then she regained her composure, smiled slightly, and raised her right index finger as if to encourage me to wait a little longer. The ghost then quickly dissolved back into the shimmery cloud form and rapidly blew out over the cliffs and out across the ocean waters.
Who was this woman? Why did she need to contact me, then lead me to this particular spot on Ashdale, only to depart without saying a word? What could frighten a ghost?!
The more I search for answers regarding my stolen past, the more questions I have!
I will return to Ashdale, Diary. Next time, I will bring a Ghostspeak Amulet with me.
Love,
Kat

I have not. At present, I am slowly tearing through all these Christmas presents I keep accumulating. I have also been training combat a lot lately. I need to be ready.
I will return to Ashdale again soon. The answers I seek are there. At least they were.

Tonight I completed Daily Challenges in Dungeoneering, Prayer, and Smithing.
I used a challenge token to skip the Dungeoneering task. I cremated 10 sets of big bones within a yew log fire in Lumbridge. Then I smithed 150 rune arrowheads at the Lumbridge anvil.
I redeemed these challenges to reach 81 Dungeoneering.

Late tonight, I completed Daily Challenges in Woodcutting, Cooking, and Prayer.
I chopped 11 yew logs west of Lumbridge Market. I banked 10 of these logs and burned the last log east of the bank chest. I then used this yew log fire to cook 10 crayfish, and to cremate 10 sets of big bones.
I redeemed these challenges to reach 75 Cooking.
