Last night, I had the dream again...the same dream that has plagued me each night since I first arrived on Gielinor.
At the start of the dream, I am somewhere else, some familiar place. I cannot see, and I cannot move. I can feel the comforting warmth of fire nearby. I can smell the smoke, heavy in the air. I hear the crackling of the flames. I also hear several voices. At first, they are faint but quickly they become louder. Laughter mixes with the voices. I do not recall anything that is said, but I do know the voices are not human. Neither is the laughter. The sounds are primitive. Ancient. Possibly demonic.
I feel unbridled anger, as well as a distinct sense of betrayal. I can also feel my strength leaving me, along with my accumulated knowledge. It is as though all that I am, my very existence and experience, is somehow being stripped from me. The agony is nearly impossible to tolerate. Only my hate is sustaining me.
Suddenly, someone nearby whispers something to me. The inhuman voices and laughter become deafening. The pain increases. I scream my defiance to the darkness, and I lose consciousness. Is this death?
No, not death. Now I find myself part of a strange new world. There are others here like me, but not like me. My pale white skin sets me apart, but like the others, I am driven to learn, to advance my skills, to become better.
This strange new world called Gielinor may or may not hold the secrets of my past - but perhaps it might be the key to my future. I have grown in power since I first found myself here. However, there are still questions that demand answers.
The ultimate question which must be answered is this:
Who is Kat Stryke?
You and I shall seek the answers together, Diary. That is your purpose.
Your purpose, and mine as well.
Love,
Kat

This evening I completed Daily Challenges in Runecrafting, Fishing, and Mining. Once again, I used a challenge token to skip the Runecrafting task since I didn't feel like bringing essence to an altar to craft runes. Next, I caught 14 crayfish behind the Lumbridge church. Then I teleported to Al Kharid and headed north to the mine, where I mined 10 gold ores before I entered the resource dungeon. I mined the precious gem rocks and obtained 18 uncut gems - 7 emeralds, 7 rubies, and 4 diamonds. I cut the gems, then teleported back to Lumbridge.
Redeeming today's Daily Challenges got me 66 Fishing.
I smelted the ores into 10 gold bars. I banked everything, took 20 raw lobsters from my bank, and successfully cooked 15 of them on the range in the Lumbridge Castle kitchen. This got me 66 Cooking.
Love,
Kat

This afternoon I completed Daily Challenges in Crafting, Prayer, and Woodcutting. Once again, I used a challenge token to skip the Crafting task as I didn't feel like making urns. Next, I buried 10 sets of big bones just outside the bank in Edgeville. Someone else was busy chopping the two yews in Edgeville, so I decided to teleport to Lumbridge, where I chopped 12 yew logs west of Lumbridge Market. My friend Ricky was there as well, so we chatted briefly.
Redeeming today's Daily Challenges got me 77 Crafting.

Kat

This evening I completed Daily Challenges in Fletching, Firemaking, and Runecrafting. I made 200 mithril arrows and burned 10 yew logs on a bonfire near the Lumbridge Market bank chest. Then I headed to the Wizards' Tower and entered the Runespan. After I had siphoned 8 air runes, this last challenge was done.
Redeeming today's Daily Challenges got me 66 Runecrafting. I can now craft 7 air runes per essence.
I remained in the Runespan until I had siphoned 100 points worth of all 6 types of runes. As I did so, I noted that, with this Runecrafting level gain, all of my F2P skills have reached or surpassed level 66. Wicked!

This afternoon I took another walk in The Wilderness.
I jumped the wall north of the goblin village. In Level 2 Wilderness, I stopped to gather a dozen skulls to add to my collection. I then went further north. At around Level 10 Wildy, I spotted a green dragon northwestt of my position. As I have no protection against dragonfire, I chose to avoid the dragon by walking northeast.
A moment later, a skeleton charged towards me from the east. I easily smashed it to pieces. It dropped a piece of grimy guam. A second skeleton ran up to me, and I dispatched it easily. It dropped no loot aside from its bones.
I soon found myself in Level 14 Wildy outside the Dark Warriors' Fortress. I decided to open the gates and explore this structure. I slew 20 dark warriors within their fortress. As I fought my way through these hapless fools to advance in an anti-clockwise manner, I did briefly climb a ladder to the upper level. However, most of the fighting took place on the ground floor. These warriors were no challenge to defeat. One of them dropped a black mace. I also picked up 10 body runes, 5 chaos runes, and 7 mind runes during my rampage. The dark warriors dropped a total of 66gp.
From the north end of the fortress, in Level 15 Wilderness, I teleported to Lumbridge, where I banked the 12 skulls (bringing my total to an even 100), 5 sets of bones from the dark warriors - I buried the rest inside their fortress), the black mace, the grimy guam, and the runes. I then added the 66gp to my money pouch.
There's that number again. 66. Is it a coincidence...or a sign?

Kat
