I don't think that I'll ever be able to get Slayer, but it's what I'll be training for as long as I keep playing :p
Since I got 100 Combat I already did quite some tasks, but even though Duradel gives pretty good tasks, it still takes long to get XP. - I only get an average of like 20K xp per hour or something.
And yes, I get incredibly bored. But I usually watch comedy series on my laptop while playing SW, keeps me ammused
