It's a pretty easy setup for me; Fire/Nature runes, Dusty key, 4K Cannonballs, 4 Prayer pots, 2 Extreme Ranged pots, Anti-poison pot and 10 Infernal Urns (those will gather enough ashes to gain me a free 2M XP, so yay! :p), then I have 3 invy spots open and 4 for my cannon. While doing the trip I fill the 7 spots I got open with charms/coins/herbs (I alch the rest of it), and during the task I get more open invy spots when my pots run out, and my Urns are filled. With that setup I hardly have to leave anything on the ground, sometimes a herb, but nothing more then that.
I only tried the Terrorbird for like 2 minutes before I dismissed it, whenever it walked inside a Black demon the whole click-area of the black demon would be the click-area of my Terrorbid, which is pretty annoying when there's one standing on your Cannon. Funny actually, I tried a few trips on my pure account first to find the right spot and came out behind the pillar aswell. It took me a while to figure out which spot was best, and when I looked at your summoning vid a few weeks ago I saw that you used the exact same spot ;) (how many times did you get ambushed there? - because it's not completely safe)
The only recoiling I've done so far is Dwarve tasks, I haven't done any Slayer since I got my Prayer up (I started Black demons that day, haven't stopped since). Do Vennake and Tureal give new tasks after you did Priest in Peril? because I wasn't aware of that.
Even if, I don't really mind recoiling. The only annoying thing about dwarve tasks is that it get's so boring that I stop paying attention and die :|
Maxing a 10 Hp pure hasn't been done yet I think, and for as far as I'm aware you're still the only 10 Hp pure with 99 Summoning. ;)
Edit @ Meat boy: I don't think you'll have trouble with it if you can endure 99 Mining, I can never concentrate when I train that Skill and end up stopping after mining like 20 ores. Early gratz on 99 Mining, as I see that you're really close!

Hey,
Sick goals and already awesome stats. What combat will you be when you got your goals realised?
And where are you killing blacks? You also said you were using an extrme Ranged potion, but what I know that ranged level doesn't have effect on Cannon. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyways, good luck and I hope you achieve it.

Once I get 99 Summoning/Ranged/Prayer I'll be Combat 75, and I kill them in Taverley dungeon.
Your ranged level doesn't affect the hits of your cannon, the max hit is always 30(0), but it does make the Cannon more accurate. :)
Edit: Thanks Elle, I knew that it did affect the accuracy, but never thought it would be that much. :O

Oi I got beat. :p But I love answering questions like this! lol.
@Gnome Secret - Both range level and range bonus affect cannon accuracy. It does not affect max hit, which is where I think the whole confusion started. Anyone who has tried using a cannon at lvl 1 range knows there's a huge difference in accuracy as your lvl improves (i.e. you hit a LOT of 0s at lvl 1). Range pots are an essential tool, especially at lower levels.
Range bonus also affects accuracy, so it's a good idea to wear the best range gear you can. I tested this myself, and came up with a difference of 2 xp per cannonball with a +100 difference in range bonus. You might think that doesn't look very significant, but it really is, it's 10%, since the average xp per cb is 20. So, (as a rough example), if you were racing your friend to 2m range xp through only cannoning and your friend had a range bonus of +100 and you had a range bonus of +0, you'd end up using almost 10k more cannonballs to get the same amount of xp.
Think that's worth it?

I never bothered with alch runes, but that's a good idea. I did get one d med out of it too. Too bad they're not worth what they used to. :p
I definitely never had that problem with a yak, but I can see why you were annoyed. I wouldn't have used it either if it did that.
I didn't get ambushed very often, but like you said, it does happen. If you keep them aggressive it's less likely to happen. It's when they start wandering around that they cause problems. I did die a few times though, from ambushes or not putting my prayer on fast enough. And those poison spiders are so annoying.
Yes, after you do priest in peril Turael can assign crawling hands and banshees. I don't believe you can swap either of those. I waited till after 99 slayer to the quest because I was positive I didn't want to slay anymore ever again on Elle, mainly because the dwarf tasks were so awful. Anyone who says recoiling is a viable method of training slayer hasn't done much recoiling. I died a couple times too. :p

Like you said, prices aren't the same anymore and alching the Black items and Rune Medium helmets/ chains gives basicly the same price as I would've gotten when I sold them in the G.E. So alching saves me a lot of invy spots, and since I pick up all the coin drops aswell it's easyer to have one cashstack in stead of filling my much needed invy with Black junk and Rune Meds (I do still keep the R2Hs and Kiteshields, and will probably keep the Dragon spears/Meds aswell if I ever get one).
I might give the BoB's another try once I used my Crimson Charms, But for now I'll stick to the 4K Cannonball trips :p
And yeh, I've been ambushed a few times now, usually when they just spawned and haven't been attacked by the Cannon yet. My mouse isn't working the 100% it should either, it makes strange double clicks sometimes, and turns my Prayer right off again. Luckely it's not that hard to get back in time, especially now they doubled the time the graves last. I haven't really had any trouble with the spiders, since the safespot is exactly the spot they can't reach and I carry an antipoison just incase i run past one on the way to some loot. Strangely enough the poison hasn't hit me even once yet O_o
Hmm, it would stink if Tureal would assign those. But if I ever decide to get up my Slayer the goal probably won't be higher then 75, so I guess that I could recoil a few of them (in my oppinion Desert Lizards are way worse anyway) and are you sure you can't cannon Crawling hands? (never killed them before, as I never did much Slayer on my other accounts)

In my oppinion the spot behind the pillar is by far the best, and it hits almost every demon in the dungeon. You can see the spot on 2:02 in Ellebreyals 99 Summoning vid, that's the spot I use ;)

Ok, thanks for all the answers, V A and Elle. I will use this method when I want a high Summoning. So what you're looking for a is a high Prayer bonus and a high Ranged bonus? And did you start at 1 Ranged?
Congratulations on the levels :) .
