Thanks for reporting the player. Whatever "information" they provide you about incentives/your activity should not be treated as genuine. This sticky addresses the common questions about player mods.

It will be best not to name and shame the player in the forums or post the URL involved as it pose a security risk (i.e. helping the impersonator promote their sites).

Yeah, they're trying to hack your account. Never trust any one claiming to be a moderator that doesn't have a crown next to their name. Jagex staff only sends player moderator invites to the player's Runescape account inbox to invite them. Well done reporting them! In the future, please keep in mind that off-topic posts are often hidden on threads. If you need help or have a question, consider creating your own thread in a suitable section of the forums so people will be able to assist you better. Thank you.

Back on-topic, good luck to you Im Storm on your goal! If you continue to be helpful, set a good example for other players and report rule-breakers, I'm sure you'll keep on the right track.

Thank you... I am new to forums so I don't know where to post or how it should be posted... I was very confused when they kept pushing me to go there, then i deleted them, ignored, then reported... I usually keep my head down, plug away on my game and try not to talk to anyone if fear I may say the wrong thing

Becoming a Player Moderator is also something I have thought about.
Of course, I have reasons why as-well. I see a lot of people saying how cool it would be to be one, but thats not why you should have a consensus or reason to want to becoming anything.
I, as a law-abiding RuneScape Player, also understands the rules of the game and I see TOO MUCH going on in RuneScape that shouldn’t be allowed.

This isn’t just your typical things like be offensive towards someone, but things like people scamming, people as there are one-hundred—if not, more—players standing by and the SAME player doing it over and over again. Even doing-so in a fashion such as making some accounts they don’t level or even play on so that if they receive a ban, had already hopped on their, “Main” account and took the, “Earnings” per sé.

For many Players this game is fun and enjoyable, including for me, but also a vice for individuals to escape their reality in a safe, fun-filled fashion. I also beta-test numerous games and was a pro all throughout the Halo Series which allowed me to get noticed by Bungie Employees and beta-test the 2nd and 3rd installments of Halo.

I believe I can better the game and improve portions of scamming. But I also believe I can find “bugs” in the game and help them get noticed so that players don’t abuse such a beautiful game. I’d like to become a Moderator to try and make an impactful change.

Played this game when i was young and now playing it into near my 30s always try and do my best to please everyone aswell as being a friend to all. The only achievment im wanting since playing this game 15 years ago was to be a mod only to help others and respect all. Tall order to wish for but only one can dream :)

Im Storm,

That is a great goal to have. That has been a goal of mine since I originally joined in 2005.

Through the years I have maintained being an active player on Runescape. It’s been so awesome to see the game expand through the years!

Spending 9 years Active Duty Military , Deployments, Training, Operations would force me on brief hiatus, but I always returned.

For me, I am a very social player, and I love meeting and interacting with other players. So I love seeing great interaction, and fruitful conversations in game. I don’t care for the toxic or seriously offensive talk . Breaks down morale, and we don’t need that!

Hello, I don't know if this is the adequate place to say this, but it's always been my dream to become a Player Moderator since I started playing runescape in 2008. I've felt that I've been a good and loyal player, and I'm always nice to everyone. And have donated so much gp, for the chance to encourage people to keep playing. I really wish to be a pmod also, anytime I have seen someone in game that needed helped I would always go out of my way to make sure they had it. I’m always nice to everyone I meet in osrs even the ones that aren’t so kind to me. Kill them with kindness. I’ve had a love for runescape since I was 11 and I’m 25 now. Ill keep posting on forums until I achieve this goal. Love y’all so much.
