Done with Artisan's Workshop! :D The rewards from it should help in collecting Champ scrolls along with a bit of Invention perks and stuff. :D

Artisan's what? Oh right. Yeah. That. Dear Guthix! Another one I have partially done and then forgotten about. But that's interesting you mention it should help with Champ scrolls. I had no idea there was any other benefit. Will wiki it and find out for myself.

Anyway I think you should celebrate this great victory Lunar. This is another notch in your belt, well done! What say we all meet up for a nice refreshing cup of Guthix's rest? On the Ice plateau. I have an interesting selection of runes I would love to show you.

In the meantime, for my own pathetic efforts I continue to grind out Menaphos rep, Games of Tombs ( just hit 100, so another 100 to go ) and the slayer Codex. Just over 100 on the codex now. I encountered Chaos giants for the first time ever (off task). I had to look up where they are located.
I failed to keep my New Year's resolution before I even made it.

Thanks for the grats, and if you are talking about having a refreshing cup of Guthix's rest on the Ice Plateau, well I guess I'll bring nothing then. I suppose you could show me your runes there or maybe somewhere else outside of that dreadful environment :P

Come now, it would be only fitting for such a grand occasion for you to wear your best (and most expensive ) gear.

It seems the jury is still out on whether or not some of the Menaphos area tasks are part of the Trim requirement or not. I recently saw a thread on reddit where people were asking, without receiving a definite answer. This is of interest to me since if such things as slayer bells, tombs, the jewels, insects and cats are not requirements, then of course I wont ever bother doing them. Not that I would bother doing all of them anyway even if they are.

On the subject of Tombs. I would like to share a method with you. It will be considered unethical. But I think you would expect that of me.

Corugi's Unethical Tombs method.

Do tombs during your obby downtimes.

While in the obby fc you will probably have noticed that there is downtime between calls. I use this downtime not by scouting for obby worlds, but rather running off like the despicable rotter that I am to shifting tombs.

The trick to tombs is of course to do them quickly, since, afaik, the rewards are trivial. General tips include: choose a path that always takes you one direction. Left or right, that way you never get lost. If you see one of those Sacriloftusigeous..umm, one of those coffin things, its a dead end, turn back and keep on heading out. If a chest appears on you path you can loot it but dont bother with the coffins or urns. The feathers are worth a slight delay. You can do this solo and get out of the tomb successfully about 95% of the time. If you start a tomb with a load of crystals blocking your path, just hop worlds and start again.

During this you are of course watching the obby fc for any calls. When you see a call, finish the tomb and then resume the obby. Rinse and repeat. In about an hour I can usually knock out 10 tombs while capping out on the obby.

If of course Tombs is not a req, then I have been wasting my downtime doing them. :@

Well, I think shifting tombs is a part of the achievement tasks area of Menaphos, which in turn is a requirement for regular Completionist Cape, and finally, Comp Cape is a pre-req of Trim Comp, thus it would be indirectly a trim req. :(

I like to think of Comp Cape as a subset of Trim Comp Cape.

Yeah. That's exactly what I thought too. But some guys were insisting it, along with the other achievement tasks area of Menaphos, were not. Someone tagged a Jmod for a clarification but since then there has been no reply.

Frankly I would agree with your logic and assume they are. Besides, if anything needlessly wastes your time, is boring as hell to do, is of no value to an otherwise maxed player, then, especially considering that it is the year 2017, it is most likely needed to Trim.

T10 Menaphos all factions done! :) Also all quests done and music tracks unlocked! :D
I would be able to maintain MQC since trim requires full completion of Slayer codex and comp reqs, and the remainder of MQC reqs will be met while working on trim (1/5 Magister Lorebooks which will come while grinding out Imperial Akhs for souls and other stuff.)

Well you beat me fair dinkum on the rep. Just got tier 10 in all a few days ago after topping the last one with the rep rewards from the quests. Yep. Those quests. The ones that aren't worth your time doing. To celebrate I went off and pked some poor innocent player. He dropped a mithril bar. I cant quite figure out what he was intending to do with that. I failed to keep my New Year's resolution before I even made it.
