I pretty much never gotten a 'legit' visage.
I started hoping for a visage when doing slayer to 99.
Result: No luck
After I decided to collect every dragon bone from 95 to 99 prayer myself. That's like, 4.4M xp. 4.4M / 252 = *17,500 dragon bones.
Collected all the bones, result: still no visage
Oh well, I needed some cash and decided to make some money at Frost dragons (Before the bots invaded back then). Killed about 2k of them, result: still nothing
And guess what... Jagex decided to update the barrows and added the visage + double loot chance to the barrows chest for like a whole week. Sounded like fun, was hoping for some double loot chests but 10 chests, nothing.. 20 chests, nothing.. 50 chests, nothing.. 65th chest.. guess what, a VISAGE.. still no barrows loot tho. Decided to stay for a few more chests just to try and get something from the barrows. After 20 more chests I decided to quit doing barrows.
Barrows loot: 0
Draconic visage: 1
Quite a sad way to get your first visage lol.

you think thats bad? i literally camped metal drags in brimhaven dungeon on release from like 65 to 80 range lmao not to mention the melee trips i did there :P it was probably a week everyday 5+ hrs getting legs rarely and never seeing anybody even mention a visage besides the ZOMG VISAGE TELE NAO people.

I used to camp metals at brimhaven back in like 07 or something.
This log doesn't count the hours spent there.

But yea it seems like if you want a visage you're best off never killing dragons then when you walk by and randomly kill one it'll drop a visage and an effigy or something. 7:46 speedrun for "Lurkers in the Woods"
