So much ambition! :’D hope it goes well! The most ambitious thing I’ve done is get two 99’s.... Trying to get another one in fishing.

It's lovely to have support and encouragement when working towards a goal.
Today I actually thought for a moment that I achieved the mean Phoenix because when I stepped out of the phoenix lair, there was me standing there alone next to a mean phoenix pet.
Unfortunately, when I took a step, I realised the person whose pet it was had been standing in the same place.
My sadness was replaced by the fact I'm glad someone else has finally achieved this elusive pet, after also much persistent trying. I can't help feeling happy for them.
One of these days it will be my turn. Persistence and patience pays off.

Thanks for your post, and congratulations on your first two 99s. The first one is always special, and gives that full sense of achievement after working towards a goal.
I still recall my first 99 which was ranged. Prior to eoc. abyssal whips were worth a fortune for me, and there was no way I was ever going to have enough gp to buy one, so I trained Slayer with only dragonhide, and a mage bow, and later a crystal bow. Eventually I achieved the level to get abyssal demons, and after lots of trying I finally got an abyssal whip, but in the meantime, because range gear was all I had, I achieved 99 range in the process. It really meant a lot, and gave a really good sense of achievement, so much more than I ever would have got if I could have afforded to buy a whip.
The important thing is not to compare yourself with other's achievements, and to have fun along the way, and congratulations and best of luck as you work towards your own goals and achievements. I'm the same. I'll get the pesky mean phoenix eventually, and still working towards the other pets. As I've said before patience and persistence helps you achieve your goals.
Good luck and congratulations for when you get your 99 Fishing, and I hope you get the fishing pet as a bonus along the way.
