Looks to me like they blocked Chinese garbage phones with known security leaks, and old phones I dono why you just don't upgrade. All those phones listed are years old, or chinese garbage phones that steal information. So why would you complain they took a year worth of information and determined old phones don't play well, and Chinese phones are a security risk.

Plays fine on my old samsung s9, and samsung tab s4. The tablet has trouble running it at full graphics 60fps, the s9 is a little better. But to play this at max graphics 60 fps you would need a snap dragon 855. It's like having a computer from 4 years ago you bought from some Chinese garbage company that has no brand, and are pissed it doesn't work right. As for the Sony xperia, I dono. I have one because of Sony remote play, but I gave it to my kid. It's slow compared to my s4 tablet and that is slow.

It's not just about the specs either just cause you have a chinese junker with a 8 core, doesn't mean they made it good enough for gaming. They over heat and lower the clock speeds, and all those low end phones do that, especially when you try to plug it in and play.

They are shooting for a smooth experience, not trouble shooting a bunch of chinese phones and phones from 4 years ago. Also a 1 year old phone is ancient in the cell phone world let alone a 8 year one.

It's not even old phones my old junk xpiera x works with it to. You can get a xperia x for like 50 bucks.

Well good for you.

A lot of us have been cut out after trialling the early beta for Jagex and we and NOT on 'garbage phones'. Some of us are top-of-the-range, some are using tablets, some are on old OS's but newer devices and some just cant afford to go out, spend 800+ on a bit of tech just to play RS.

Lol it's not racist to say Chinese garbage phones with security leaks, they have been proven to be a security leak if you paid any attention to news. It is referring to the companies that makes those cheap garbage phones in China. Not all phones made in China are garbage, just the cheap ones that were proven leaks. I see why they did it though, you are just mad they did. I upgraded to a s6 tab, from my s4, and I can see why they would block lower end phones, and old androids. The s6 can't even play at 60 fps max settings, and the s4 gets like 20 fps. I had a a50 Samsung before i took it back for a s6 tab and that couldn't even play it right on lower settings, with no shadows.

It should be noted that NO mobile device is "designed" for gaming. Even newer devices are not designed to be on and playing games for long time frames. These systems where designed to spend at least 50% of their time idle and they all have heat dissipation issues inherent to highly compact designs.

It is a high level of short sighted behavior to develop this game for these mobile systems. They will all break sooner rather then later with this kind of use.

Looking at the list of phones, I am fairly sure that Jagex went way too heavy handed with their black list and it seems highly arbitrary as well. I Don't think the Chinese junk phone argument holds up well.

Well that's not true at all. The Razer phone 1 and 2 are, as well as the rouge phone one and 2. The rouge phone being the more expensive of the 2. My Razer 2 lets me control the CPU speed from 1 GHz to 2.8, allows me to lower or raise the hz of my screen from 60 to 120, has a fps counter, and doesn't have any bloat ware. I have played cod and RuneScape for 6 hours straight and my phone didn't over heat or slow down. It stayed at a cool 63c which is fine, even plugged in it's fine.

Also saying they were wrong to come out with a game, because the majority have old phones and tablets that have trouble running Candy crush is rediclious. That like saying no modern pc games should ever be made because there are only a few with high end computers strong enough to run them.

Next your gonna whine and say Eve online mobile, and black desert mobile shouldn't come out because the majority of people have old junk phones. Which both will be more demanding that runscape.

You counterdic* your self, you say first all the phones will overheat and break. Then you say cheap made Chinese phones arent going to be a problem, when they all use cheaper made stuff, with no quality control. Those phones history is full of how the cut corners and make phones as cheap.

plz read posts first when posting yourself. As said, my One Plus One ran flawless. It is not a cheap Chinese phone but a high quality hardware Chinese one and my Lineage 16.0 Android 9.0 is a nightly build (more updated does not exist) and probably a safer OS than yours. How is that buggy?? Same for my One Plus 3.

There simply is no solid reason to cut out OnePlus on Lineage.

Minus this.OnePlus phone used to leak personal data of the users for many years and many users remained unaware of that. It's a cheap Chinese phone that took all your personal data. Also I don't see how you think a snap dragon 801 from 5 years ago equals flawless. It's even weaker than my garbage Sony xerpia, and def weaker than the Samsung a50 I've had and took back. 5 fps and skips on max graphics and like 30 fps with skips on low does not equal flawless lol.

My Razer phone 2 with a 845 can run it around 60fps on the lowest settinfs, my Samsung s4 tablet has trouble with the 835 it skips and doesn't keep a smooth frame rate. Even my Samsung tablet s6 can't run this game at max settings with a min frame rate of 60. So there's no way a one plus one with a 5 year old cpu and security flaws is gonna run this game flawlessly sorry.

The OnePlus 3 could probly handle low graphics at 25 to 60 on low settings. I don't know what to tell you other than stop buying cheap garbage Chinese phones. This has ran on my s9,old Sony Xperia x, s7, tab s4, tab s6, and my Razer phone 2. They were letting you test it out and they found one plus three lacking apparantly. Fortnight doesn't let very many phones at all play it. You can get numerous phones that would play this game from 250 plus.

I don't know anything about a Razer phone 2, Makasoul. The only thing I notice when i read your comment is that you know **** about the One Plus One. It was cheaper in price but not in hardware quality (please open up one and see for yourself) and it originally came with Cyanogenmod 11, a very safe OS which did a lot, but *never* leaked personal data. Please know your facts and quit pretending you know your stuff. You don't.

I know it's a old garbage phone from years ago. I also know 3rd party hacks from xda are considered safe by no one of importance. Which is why xda is full of people asking if thier hack will get them banned from thier banking app, or Netflix. There are plenty of articles about OnePlus being unsecure. As I said if you didn't read the code your self , you have 0 clue if it's secure or not. Your nonsense is like saying back in the day dos was a secure program and I think every game should run on dos. As I told you don't expect a 5 year old phone to play modern games any more than a ps4 to play ps5 games. A Samsung s4 phone is a old garbage phone too. Any phone over 2 years old is garbage. Also a OnePlus was never designed for gaming nor was it cooling system. Just because it has a CPU the same as another phone doesn't mean jack. It's like saying you have a 9600k CPU running on a stock Intel cooler, and I have a 4 fan water cooler and run it at a stable 5ghz. A 5 year old phone would already have CPU degrade and thermal paste degrade. Which unless you took it all apart and reapplied it I seriously doubt it can maintain it's max clock indefinitely.

Really Makasoul, when you write stuff like this you clearly show you don't understand open source cummunities and how CM works on hardware. Calling phones garbage only because of its age is so *not* open source. All your statements are just your opinion, quickly said and not hindered by any knowledge of hard facts. Pity.
