Hey all,

After looking at a year’s worth of device data we have decided to disable RuneScape Mobile access for some devices, mainly running on Android 5, due to their poor performance and ability to run the game smoothly.

For more information please read the existing FAQ .

Hi, I use a Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) with Andriod 7.0. The mobile app ran fine on my phone, much better than runescape runs on my laptop but after this update it says I can no longer play.

I have suggested to friends that they need to try and get a place on a beta or to download the app once its released because it runs so well but Im now concidering telling them to stay away because its really unfair if you suddenly take away access. I can understand if your phones ancient but mines only 3 years old.

Please reconsider this change as you going to lose a lot of testers whos apps are running well.

Hi, I have a Lenovo Yoga Book Tablet running Android 7.1.1. I used to be able to run RS Mobile on this but no longer (not just this most recent change) but for a number of months. I am told it is no longer compatible with my device and refuses to install from the google App store.

Is this right or is there something I should be doing?

The Runescape 3 app was working fine on my NVIDEA shield K1 running Android 7. However it also got cut with this update. I really liked playing the app on a small tablet. Will Runescape continue to support small tablets like the iPad mini?

I'm using a OnePlus 2, which ran on Androif 6.1.2. The game ran fine on my phone, and One Plus is a brand renowned for not retiring so easily off heavy duty apps. Roawr.

I have a Galaxy S6 and after a bug was fixed, that caused the game to crash when accessing your bank, the game ran great on this phone. And the phone is an Android Version 7.0.
