Regarding this issue of poor performance on earlier android version, I was running the game on 5.0.2 and it was ok, crashing and lagging but ok. For whatever reason at the same time i could not and cannot utilize my s5 with 6.0.1 . Now i waited all that time to download since I don't have a computer, I bought an internet package specifically for this game and for your own purposes now you're making it so I can't play. I thought this game was supposed to be for your customers purpose your purposes.

Just a suggestion. Can the mobile bank ui be customisable in number of columns shown?
Atm on both my S9 and A7 (2018) it is 17 columns vs adjustable on pc.
I dont like being forced to use 17 columns to have a uniform look on both pc and mobile.

Hi, I use a Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) android 7.0. The mobile app ran fine on my phone, much better than runescape runs on my laptop but after this update it says I can no longer play.


I have suggested to friends that they need to try and get a place on a beta or to download the app once its released because it runs so well but Im now concidering telling them to stay away because its really unfair if you suddenly take away access. I can understand if your phones ancient but mines only 3 years old.



Please reconsider this change as you going to lose a lot of testers whos apps are running wellIts weird. I can understand if you have an ancient phone but mine running on Android 7.0. The runescape app worked fine and ive had no problems like this with other games or apps..

I'm using a galaxy Note 9 and after this update every 10 or 15 minutes the app closes on it's own

Other then that the new interface from a while ago still has the same problems if not more the grand exchange price changing should keep the full keyboard same with most of the other number input places its annoying putting in say 1,000,000 instead of just having 1m it's even more so when you have to put something like 357k or something along those lines because if you mess it up you have to redo it and it's just annoying

You still cant use the price checker or the currency pouch quick menu and from what I seen in settings theres no more 1 click game play

The clan list is annoyingly complicated to get to needing to expand the chat click social then finally click to it instead of just having it on the quick bar or atleast having it along with the friends chat tab

Again removing the price checker is probably the most annoying thing about the new interface changes every time I think to myself oh I wanna check how much this and this will be when I sell it I quickly remember that to do so I would have to close runescape on my phone open my laptop load runescape on there just to use the price checker it genuinely gives me a headache everytime I realize a key feature to runescape was removed

The bank rework is great and I am very happy for it but it's getting to the point where I get a headache trying to play runescape mobile I dont mind the game closing every few minutes nearly as much as I hate that you removed so many key features that worked perfectly before on mobile

I really love mobile, its been a pleasure to play on the comfort of my couch and I have been playing on mobile almost exclusively since I got it on my phone.

So here's a bit of overdue feed back:

The client crashes

I have no idea why, it use to crash whenever I open the bank. I suspect it is a ram / cache management issue with my phone. Crowded areas was less prone to open the bank than others.

This has been fixed with the bank rework, however my client still crashes at seemingly random times.

I have wondered the cause of the crashes, perhaps its bad practice of just locking my phone or pressing home button? Maybe it causes the cache to go corrupt? -Bemusing of a clueless adventurer

The Ribbon and Clue scrolls

I have noticed that sometimes upon completion of a clue scroll the client dumps the entire ribbon and you have to reset them to defaults in the menu.

Backpack/Action bar

So when I try to eat a shark or interact with an item in the backpack bottom corner with the action bar open, it activates the action bar instead of interacting with that item/food

"Right-click dropdown

This can be very very finicky to drop down on the right drop you want to pick up or sometimes you have to press-and-hold on a space on the screen 2 or 3 times before you get the drop down.

A fix I found to this with regards to drop is extending the loot area. Maybe that could be a default?

Final Thoughts

I really love where mobile is going, the overall experience has been fantastic! I love the new look and feel. Within a day or two I couldn't even remember what the old version looked like!

Okay so i was on the first wave of mobile testers and having been using rs mobile since launch and have been very happy with how its been developed so far. Current character is 15 year vet but ive been with you guys from the begining. Unfortunately however ive run nin*i my first big issue! I recently updated my mobile device to the note 10 plus and the game worked great minus an issue with mouse clicking on samsung dex. However for the last 3 days the game wouldnt let me log in without updating and then no matter what i did the update would throw an error code. I made the mistake of uninstalling t to try to reinstall and now i can gain access to dl it again. Is there anyway back in? Thanks for any help, i loved mobile so much i actually got rid of my desktop pc finally. Proud WRX owner
