Unless there is something I have to do on my end to get this patch to work, but the client still will not launch with my integrated Intel(R) UHD Graphics. I have the most updated drivers and all of that, and it is still giving me the same message when I try to start it up.

"The instruction at 0x%p referenced at 0x%p. The memory could not %s. (c0000005)"

or sometimes

"A heap has been corrupted. (c0000374)"

If someone knows if there is something that I need to do then please tell me. Compatibility mode is almost unplayable.

Rman939, I was excited to finally be able to use integrated graphics instead of discrete, but like you, the client threw a similar error message.

I have since realized there is a discrepancy between the patch notes posted on the forums from those posted in the news , "Resolved an issue preventing the client from launching on some Intel HD Integrated Graphics. (Expected very soon)." I am not disgruntled by the quantity of fixes implemented in the patch or the mining fixes, but I fail to comprehend why this unimplemented engine fix has been included in the notes.

Is the quality assurance so lacking that this fix was entirely forgotten about when deploying the patch, for which the "expected very soon" note was hastily appended to only one location of the patch notes mistakenly? Or is it too laborious to produce a separate post once this engine fix has actually been implemented?

Why did you patch winter chill off after it has finished? Seems an utterly pointless waste of time. Maybe fix the right click decant at rodri instead, something people actually care about?

Aimme xx

Issues were hotfixed during the event.
Guess it is too difficult for them to create a post on forums when they hotfix stuff.

Hmmm...adding hotfixes to these patch notes may also give an (ahem) impression of sorts these notes make for a worthy read :D

it drives me absolutely mad. Here we have a dev team telling us the hard work they did fixing something that doesnt matter anymore, whilst the same update they did broke something really simple like decant potions. WE will wait months and months for them to repair this and it will be announced in a 'patch notes' update, and people will accept that fix as an update because its wonderful that jagex are fixing the game (that they broke in the first place by sheer ineptness) and because of that we won't get an update with new content/seasonal event/anything that isnt a TH update. ..., arggggh this was not the RS Andrew built, you guys have lost your way.

Sad Aimme

Still have the same issue with sound effects in the game, no teleport sound, wood cutting sound, mining sound, these are the ones i tried out. This is on desk top.

Yes thank you someone else who plays with sound on and can't stand it being broken since the January 27th patch note that somehow only broke the sound effects in-game and not the ambiant sounds, music or voice overs. But since they posted that such a fix will be implemented sometime this week I'll try not to hold my breath as what others have said that sound is on the low end of the totem pole when it comes to RuneScape. -.-"
