I have noticed that I can no longer use Grace of the Elves charged with ports to automatically transport soft clay from Prif. Intended change or bug that resulted from these changes?
Meh... combat fixes are mostly very specific things, whereas more major issues (dragon weapons without specs, sagaies and royal crossbows still generic, Troll Invasion and Dungeoneering bosses still very broken, all monsters released pre-eoc still super weak, bugs from monsters still trying to apply disease, l could go on...) haven't been fixed yet, and some persist from the release of EoC...
M&S fixes are of course nice, but Java rockertunities are still invisible in most places.
And last week's bug causing some graphical effects to play at ten times their usual speed persists, hopefully it's fixed next week.
Not too thrilled about the wolves either. Hati, Sköll and Fenrir are of course great as usual, but why yet another monetised currency collection 'event', forcing you to abandon your regular gameplay for days if you want to get the rewards, as you'd have to repeatedly keep killing the wolves *and* perform a skill action every few minutes. I'm not bothering, that's for sure. My compassion to all those who feel compelled to participate. :/

You are wrong in this aspect, The wolves only need to be killed once each for their rewards.
Fenrir by Slayer Cave drops: Fenrir body, Fenrir legs
Haiti by the corner of Rellaka's south-east fence drops: Haiti Head, Haiti Cloak, Haiti Paws
Skoll, which is summoned by a 300 log bonfire, drops: Skoll boots, Skoll amulet
Any of the wolves can drop "Jourmung ring" and the exp rewards can only be claimed once
As for the currency, It drops from pretty much anything, the wolves just drop more of it at once. After the first day I've returned to my usual routine and I'm already at 6,555/20,000 Valkyrie Feathers (the currency) and there are still 19 days left.
If you're that worried, go mining for a while, it rewards 20% more feathers than other sources currently

I remember hearing about the option to smelt stuff you smith back into bars but nothing ever happens when using it on a furnace, how does one go about doing this?
i can't find a way to do this... Jagex how does it works???

Yes the base event is fine, but this extra currency event requires daily wolf killing unless you want to do even more skill actions every few minutes, since they drop quite some feathers. I'm not worried, since I'm not bothering with it, but then Jagex should be worried that they make content that inherently makes people want to not bother with, if they don't want to go out of their way to perform a skill action every so often (like me). If, for instance, I wanted the rewards, but also wanted to play Conquest all day (just an example), I'd have to choose.

Did you not read what I said? Pretty much any action rewards feathers

Why didn't you guys feel the need to document the changes to monster drop tables?
Salvage is now dropping far, far less often and coin drops drop far fewer coins.
The update on the 14th made an unlisted change that causes degradable items to permanently soul bind when equipped which means those who wish to complete "I Brought Your Stuff Back" are now permanently stuck with Barrows armor regardless of wanting it or not.

@777Havoc: Yes but you still have to go out of your way and perform it. After two-ish hours of gameplay on Monday, I got (apart from by killing the wolves) maybe five or six feather triggerings. So even if almost any skill action triggers feathers, you'd still have to go out of your way to do it, unless you happen to be training a skill for the whole time you're logged in...
