The world map now shows what rocks are available at each mining site.
Haven't figured out how to get this to work tbh. At least my map doesn't have this feature (using NXT client)>
Other, all shooting star related:
Every world, bar none, regardless of a star landing at a legit scoped region star spot (one of the ones we've had since Day One), has a size 9 at the Arandar limestone quarry, which is a PITA to get to, whether you're coming from Isafdar lodestone, Lletya, Prif, or Eagle's Lodestone. Isafdar lodestone is fastest, Lletya 2nd. From Prif, u have to run to Arandar gate to get on tohe path to the quarry anyway, so maybe EAgle's is faster. But it's a glitch; I was standing watching a size 9 there go from 320% mined in current later to 388% mined with nobody touching it, while a friend watched the star we'd scoped land at RElly mine. And we found this duplicate s9 star on every world we hopped to. This needs fixed.
For some of us, we haven't been getting any gems, or even replacements for gems (read: geodes) from stars since this update.
The minigame timer, both that on the minigames tab and attached to the ingame clock, do not reflect the status of the star's being active or not. Even if there's a live star, both of these timers indate there is no active star on any world. The timer itself works properly for ETA etc, but we had ppl going nutsoid and stop looking for stars because they thought they'd already been mined and tubbied, when no such thing was true. I discussed this with another friend who was complaining about it while I was standing next to a size 7 at port khazard mine yesterday.
Yes, more than one of us have filed bugs on all of these issues, but IMO they need fixed, the minigame timer beingm ost critical, but also those size 9s on every world that never go away even if there's a star elsewhere.
