Approximate running costs:

• 50K on 32 Rocktails
• 250K on 16 Saradomin brew flasks
• 150K for Super restore flasks
• 120K on Summoning Flasks
• 105K on Overloads

• 400K for my augmented Weapons
• 500K for Augmented armour
• 350K for my Vampyrism scrimshaw


Like, that's nearly 2 million coins on just supplies. So far my typical ED3 solo is about 3-5M gross profit. And that doesn't even account for the fact that it's very easy to take a BS death if you make even one mistake which sets you back a **** tonne more.


Vindicta is more consistent Gp/hour than this, and it's nearly AFKable?


No one likes the idea of a 1/1000 chance at a T92 crossbow piece other than merchers who want high margins. Each dungeon takes 30-45 minutes in Solo. It shouldn't be possible.

Those be some smexxii game engine changes...
I'm trying not to complain but it's a shame they've still not optimized volumetric lighting in Ultra in places that use it like Menaphos. Still stuck with dotty bushes, trees and a strange orange hue in places XD

I'm pretty sure they're going with the quasi standard MMO looting colorscape for that, purple being for unique/ultra rare or desired items (coins being the desired endgame for most players after pvm), Blue for being rare/valuble items but not ultra rare or ultra desired, green for uncommon/boarderline rare like say the old drop for 10000 yew logs or something like that, and white for common/boarderline uncommon items. Could be wrong but that's what i gathered from it.

not happy with 1 thing in these patch notes and that is that the legecy UI i use has been removed, now i have to use the newer one that i cannot stand in order to continue playing and it is putting my off playing this otherwise great game

Count me as another player who misses the "fixed screen". Didn't even realize what it was called. Played since summer 2003 on main, almost 15 years on this account. Am managing to adjust my screen, but don't like being bothered with all the ways to change things.

Ref: dropping the Java client. I play on a 10 1/2yo laptop, retired after years of part time (raising children) so not enough SS to comfortably buy another, so long as this one limps along. Tried NEX again a couple months ago, still don't get along with it. Almost quit this morning, seeing my screen all messed up. Losing Java may be the last straw. Really miss the old browser game, with the old combat. I no longer do combat-based quests, esp. when they're "scaled to my combat level". Thanks for that! /s

Don't know what magic you guys did today but finally the Nxt Client is running perfectly at my Linux Ubuntu on my old computer, just like if I am playing with the java client.

To the jmods who did this update I wanna say I love you guys, thank you very much for showing some love for us linux players :)

What the hell? So now I have to switch the layout to my old saved "Oldskool layout" every time I log in or just hop the world? You guys seriously know how to ruin it for me. I thought that it was a bug, but this is a nightmare. I have zero interest in using those big, drawn out interfaces, where everything is too far away, just zero. Really awesome, keep it up! Delete my saved layout, so the problem solves itself! Switchscape now gets even more real in another aspect, clap clap. 3rd May, 2015 = 200 m XPS in Sinkholes @ Sinkhole Mastership
