"When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself... first, as a dark demon. As a demon, it uses its power to rain death upon the land, and then it dies. However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns, this time, as a great hero"
On in an hour and 15 mins. I have internet this week, but have been running a few errands this week... so hopefully I'll be there on time (if not, will be just a few minutes late).
I have some feedback to give since I've been to at least 3 of these events now.
1) Populated worlds - It's a cluttered mess, isn't the point of this event to be able to talk to the p mods and ask questions? I mean those who want to come to the event will populate the area anyway.
2) Friend groups - When I go, I notice a lot of people get ignored and it's basically just become a social hub for groups of p mods who like to hang out together, which seems to be defeating the actual purpose of the event.
3) Lack of encouragement - This goes with number 2, the event has become a social hub and the p mods themselves aren't at all encouraging people to ask questions nor do they seem to be interacting with the people around them without being addressed personally.
Sorry to be so demanding but I had to get this off my chest.
Hey Ownage, thanks for your feedback. To address some of your concerns...
Point 1) Being outside the bank was a bit too hectic, hence the reason we've been trying out Varrock Square the past few weeks, which, while we don't run into as many people as before, makes it so we're not in the middle of a spampit, so to speak. We do like to stay on the more 'populated' worlds, though - the key to success is to have a large outreach. The more people who we might run into, the better.
Its also important to remember that... most who we meet ingame aren't necessarily forum users - they don't know that we're out ingame every week. There's a much greater chance of running into people interested in asking questions or chatting in a world with 1000 people than one with 200 people.
Points 2 & 3) Many of us are friends and do enjoy chatting to each other, yes, so I do see where you're coming from with saying its a social hub. However, at the same time, many who are playing OSRS are well seasoned players. They knew what they were doing from the start, unlike those that we used to run into back when I first started attending Town Square sessions in 2010 who often were very new to the game and had many more questions.
Many who stop by might not have any questions to ask, but are always friendly and chatty - the goal of the event isn't only to answer questions, but at the same time to simply get a chance to hang out with those who play the game too, whether they are new to the game, PMods or just seasoned veterans.
The varrock circle was suggested a while ago, not sure why it didn't move (actually I am but no finger pointin' today).
Its worth noting we chat to each other when its dead, or appears dead (Goes with the fact that Pmod chat is naturally easier to spot in a chat box, and the actual screens hit and miss).

On in an hour -
I'm out and about at the moment so while I will be there, I may be a tad bit late, depending on when I make it back in.
Got back early, so will be there on time.
