I am also experiencing the same issue - I have to re-type my password and provide authenticator code every time I attempt to log on. This began after yesterday’s (OCT-21-2020) update. I’m using IOS 13.7. Please Jagex, fix this issue! Thanks.
Same problem as well since the last app update. No idea if it’s related but I had to reinstall the app because it kept telling me it was out of date.

I have ran into this same issue. Never used Game Center but when I tried it didn’t work. Now I went to continue using my RuneScape account and now it’s telling me I’m not a member after redeeming two bonds a couple days ago. I also wanted to point out I was able to log into a membership world UNTIL I tried the Game Center option. Prior to attempting the GC I was able to login and it’d always ask for the 6digit Authenticator. However, what’s even more problematic is that it would accept ANY 6 digits. I have a couple of unrelated accounts linked to the Authenticator and realized I was entering in the wrong code to get into my RS account and it still let me in. Much to my dismay I entered 123456 when it asked for the digits and it still let me in. Tweeted JagexSupport about this and they told me to come here. What’s the point of having a Twitter account for this when you just direct to forums? LOL

The posts from the player I was responding to were, technically, a thread hijack.
Their topic was unrelated to this thread and should have been reported for moderation instead of replied to.
As to the topic of this thread, I don't know what to suggest.
Prior to the update the standard reply to a player reporting this particular Authenticator issue was to ask if they were jumping between phone data and wi-fi as moving between the two would trigger an Authenticator request and ignore the fact the player had set it for 30 days.
Authenticator would also trigger if a player moved between devices.
If the player is not moving devices and isn't moving between phone data and wi-fi, there should be no request for an Auth code if the 30 days has not elapsed.
I can't find a Jagex response on this topic.

. I believe the 30 day setting option is a security weak point and I would never advise its use.
