Hi all,

You might not realise, but Android devices have multiple manufacturers, all of whom are likely to produce lots of different models each.

We'd like to hear how the performance is on your device. For reference:
Only
supported Android devices can download the application: all devices with Android Lollipop (5.0) or later.
EXCEPT for
: all Chromebooks, ASUS Nexus 7, HTX Nexus 9, NVIDIA Shield, Google Pixel C, and Huawei P8 Lite. There are issues with the performance of Old School RuneScape on these devices.
Our focus during beta testing is on your experience on mobile phone devices. Old School RuneScape will work on many tablets, but the experience may not be optimal.

Please do reply with the following:

Example

Device name: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
Model Number: SM-G935F
Location: United Kingdom
Wifi: Yes
Cellular: 4G
Data Provider: Three
OS: Android
OS version: 7.0

How is the app performing for you?:

TECLAST TPad X98 Plus II Tablet running Android 5.1

All I get is a black screen and sound.

Mainly playing on a Amazon Fire HD8 (Has amazon's tweaked version of Android 5.1) and my performance is on average 15-20 FPS in high demanding area's like GE.

Would love a option to play in like the original classic UI to lower demand and increase performance.

Moto e (2nd gen)
USA
WiFi
3g (4g capable I just don't get it in my neighborhood)
Provider: FreedomPop/Sprint
Android 5.1

App is working phenomenal. Quick load times (faster than my 1 year old PC), no lag at all. Only thing I've had trouble clicking on is switching between chat options but got them to work eventually. Very surprised how well this works on an out dated device you can find for $40 on a free phone plan

Logging into RuneScape on mobile on data is a surreal experience. No lag at all on 3g. WiFi works flawless. Controls are intuitive.

Works perfectly, loads quickly, smooth fps. I love that the app fits to my phone's screen resolution since most apps have black bars either side.

Surprised by how good it is, the game feels smoother and less clunky than PC osrs did when it was first released :) Really good job

For the most part it runs great.. until I open the bank interface or really most interfaces. Trying to withdraw anything lags everything, scrolling up and down doesnt, only when depositing or withdrawing. Whenever i open a different tab (inventory, prayer book, etc) it lags for a second. Also the textures on yew trees are real "stringy" (posted on reddit about it) also the wilderness ditch is transparent on the minimap.

Works flawlessly, smoother than many x86 PCs I have played on. The FPS cap is nice feature to save battery when doing AFK stuff.

Thank you for this, I can finally play OSRS while in the hot tub or at the beach.

It is currently reminiscent of the earlier years of RS 2 where "connection lost - attempting to reconnect" was pretty common. Some times it lasts a full minute or more before catching up. So I won't be using it to fight anything for a while at least haha
