Phone info:

Pixel 2
Android 8.1.0

USB setup:
The included Pixel 2 otg cable.
A crappy quality dynex wired mouse

The problem:
The mouse is able to control the phone in other apps and throughout the os, however the mouse click event isn't registered on the mobile app.

This is a super important accessibility feature for people with fine motor impairments.

Was also wondering about mouse
Wireless mouse doesn't work on S7 Edge either, goes black screen when I try
Edit: got mouse to show up on app but doesn't register the mouse clicks on the app Toasty!

Same issue here with my ZTE Axon 7 running Android 7.1.1

Mouse pointer appears in-app, but clicks will not register. I'm prone to misclicking with my fingers (which is of course why I tried the mouse), so this feature would be tremendously useful for improved accuracy.

Same issue on LG G2 and Moto G5+. I don't think it's device specific, given the variety here. Most people probably didn't try.

Please fix.

Umm... Okay? But it's important to me at least, so say whatever works to convince them to fix it. :D
