Same for me. App will load on wifi but not on mobile data with everything else on the phone working. Android 10 OS. Ever since the last update it's been this way.
Guess what y'all? Still not working. Still no response from Jagex. And if I do manage to get to some wifi, the game let's me play for a few minutes before booting me out and making me log back in with authenticator and all. And it doesn't do this just once... Nah it happens over and over...
Haven't been able to play in about a month unless I have wifi available. I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's MOBILE. I shouldn't have to connect to wifi in order to play on the go. If I wanted to play using wifi then I'd get on my laptop or desktop. The app worked great up until the client update.
I'm using a Samsung Note 10+ with Android 12. I haven't been able to load the game unless I use Wi-Fi. I just found the solution today while I did about 3 hours of research and I came up with that You need a VPN and it could be your service provider. I have cricket and for some reason cricket wireless doesn't communicate with jafex servers properly. I downloaded a VPN and it works just fine. I just got proton since it's free all the way All you have to do is create an account.
