I think it stinks that there was no Halloween event this year. Also no explanation to why we did not get one. I have been a member for 15+ years and always look forward to these holiday events. But for no Mods to even explain why we did not have one is just plain lame!!!! At the very least you could have just repeated last year's event and maybe changed a skill or two. If your going to use the mobile app or other updates as an excuse not to do one, again that is lame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only mention of this event was in a Q&A at rune fest?

Evidently Jagex has better things to do (rune fest) than to make the game more enjoyable for it's players. Each year during this time they tend to throw b/s stuff at the players hoping we will forget holiday events. WRONG. The holiday events were a chance to play with our friends and meet new people and exchange info in the game. It was always a big hit. Even if they just revamped an old one the players would have had a chance to enjoy it. Rune fest is a big loser. Always has been and always will be. I would like to see the stats of how many players actually have the chance to attend. Not many. The Runescape player base is vast and world wide. Whereas Rune fest is in one place. Hellllooooo Jagex. Get your stuff together. Your players need a reason to want to come back and to look forward to holidays when they have time on their hands to kill in the game. You're really missing the boat on this.

^ this. I'm an adult with little time to spare for online games now but I still like to come back to RS for the holiday events, just like old times. It's become a tradition for me and I like collecting the holiday items. Still really sad there's no event this year. Please Jagex don't do this again.
