While my song of preference has changed over the years, 'Scape Original' will always have a special place in my heart. When I first started playing I quickly found out my computer couldn't really handle sound while playing Runescape. I barely heard any bars of 'Scape Original' when I first fired up Runescape, and they were warped by lag.

Fast-forward two years when my family got a new computer, 'Scape Original' was the first track I heard when I dared to try and run Runescape with the sound back on. Hearing that song in its entirety was like discovering the answer to a riddle I had been turning over in the back of my mind for weeks upon months upon years. It was like I had stumbled on a brand new frontier, different and yet familiar. The music breathed a whole new dimension into Runescape for me and whenever I listen to 'Scape Original,' I revisit that sense of absolute wonder I felt when I discovered it. It is the theme of infinite possibility, waiting to be uncovered.

Just one? but that's nearly impossible!

There are so many great tracks in Runescape, all for a variety of different reasons, from the lesser known tracks like "Scape Melancholy" and "Creation" that just feel so mournful and sombre to ones like "Arise hero"(which I was so glad when it was finally added to the music player and got the longer version with "Arise legend". Sadly there're still a great many unlisted tracks that play once and never again ingame making you have to hunt them down on youtube and such places ) and "Har'lakk the Riftsplitter" which just feel epic. There are nostalgic ones like Horizon which bring back memories of first walking through the members gate and old favourites like Start and newbie melody which make me remember being a newbie and just walking around aimlessly just exploring. The sun suite tracks reminding me of first getting into Priffdinas and "Elven Elite" for when I could finally enter the max guild. Even the newest of the newest tracks like the two from the lost grove which just have such a unique feel and sound to them, I think it might be the first time a horn was used to such extent in runescape tracks. Then there are ones like those from "Carnilean Rising" which just lift my mood and make me happy whenever I hear them. Of course who could forget ones like "Memories of Guthix" which just pull on my heart strings and make an already gutwrenching scene all the more powerful. I still tear up a bit when I hear it. I could go on and on, but I'm running out of characters for this post.

If I had to just pick on though, it would be "These stones". A few others come close (the two conquest tracks, the rimmington tracks, again, i could go on). It just feels so full of emotion and life to me, evoking so many different emotions all at once. I still don't fully understand why It does this or why i love it so much, but there it is.

You can tell why it's taken me so long to enter. Sorry for all the rambling. :P
Aww yiss we finally got signatures!

Citharede Requiem is my favorite track. I went to a church that was hostile to dancing and thought it a sin so I can relate to the girl in the music. I then did the opposite to what she did and left that church for another one that encouraged dancing. I love the melody and how beautiful the choir voices sound. I love how ground breaking the whole quest was in being fully voiced acted, it really drew you in and engaged you to the story. The male lead singer is really good, he reminds me of Josh Groban so I am very proud of Jagex for hiring such a talented singer.
