This week we decided to catch up with
Dez
for his views on the draft ahead of the allstar game.

What went into your mind when planning your draft picks?

I needed a team that would win the game, so I picked the players I thought would best help accomplish this goal.

Who are you looking to stand out the most on your team, any surprises?

Well most of my team are proven winners, although I'm hoping this game can change most people's minds on the abilities of ElStabbo.

Dez you have a very good balance of threats on your team, both offensive and defensive - do you think there will be any holes or problems in your team's game?

Absolutely none, my draft choices seem to be tigher than an ********.

If you had to pick one wild card that was not not qualified for drafting who would it be and why?

FaladorCity, he was a great player in initial seasons, scoring the most goals. It's a real shame he never stuck around.

Over the course of NRC's history we've seen some great legacies and teams, what would be your favourite team of all time that you have not been affiliated with?

That's a tough question, you're asking a vain person to choose someone other than themself. I would have to opt for Draynor Ducks in their early days though, Serria set up a team full of rookies and they played the game in a way so different, it would entertain you as a referee or opposing player.

This weeks Player of the Week is:
Rweavz

Rweavz in the last few seasons has taken on the general role of safety defender and has quickly risen to the top of the style, rivaling some of the most well known defenders and has been nominated in the past for defender of the season, an award that is usually handed out to players with large stacks of tackles and a rushing style. This week Rweavz definitely tied the team's defence together, along with Er, who made his debut for the Cavaliers this season. He has also continuously been a vital part of the team's chemistry when it comes to offence, with his perfectly timed tacklebacks and goalscoring abilities and that is why Rweavz is our player of the week.

Previous Players of the Week:
Week 1 • Serria-1-17
Week 2 • LJH
Week 3 • Badiak
Week 4 • KFC
Week 5 • Rweavz

Most are proven winners, with Dez being one of the people NOT proven.

This weeks Player of the Week is:
Er

Er has always been fairly under the radar, but since the beginning of his career he has remained consistent and continues to perform a high quality of play every time he is on the pitch, "having a bad game" is unheard of for him and this week was no exception. The Cavaliers player also has a large amount of history with teammates and integrates perfectly with their playstyles, most notably on defence. Er was as solid as a rock this week and the team conceded no 3 point goals within the second half of their game this week vs the Ducks, which could be easily traced back to Er's continued stops, with all this in mind it is why Er is our player of the week.

Previous Players of the Week:
Week 1 • Serria-1-17
Week 2 • LJH
Week 3 • Badiak
Week 4 • KFC
Week 5 • Rweavz
Week 6 • Er
