With the Land Out of Time update, the Weapon Diversity beta and the bank interface beta all expected this summer, will Jagex have the time (pun intended) to host the long-awaited Summer Beach Party 2019?

This event is highly anticipated as there has been a Summer Beach Party held every year for the last 4 years (2015 through 2018). People like me who get most of their Runescape playing done during the summer would sorely miss the biggest xp-gaining and fashionscape event of the year.

It usually shows up at the start of August where we build it and then mid august though mid sept we get to play. I expect it to lead up to a BXP weekend right before Runefest. 23 200ms. Founder of Jamandy52 skilling clan. Favorite skill: Construction. Love skilling. Love minigames.

Honestly IDK what Jagex is thinking. There's people saying "oh the beach event is repetitive I'm glad it's gone" but honestly this new ship building event is even less interactive and more afk-able.. Watch Jagex re-release all the tokens and kill a ton of players investments as Jagex's version of Marxism's redistribution of wealth lol.. Honestly Jagex uses the same content for the beach event each year, so IDK why they wouldn't have it, or to replace it with an even more boring event with less rewards.. Hopefully they do it again with new rewards and don't re-release anything except the runecoin tokens that are re-released each year..

I don't get i though, if Jagex was after a profit like any business they'd continue the most hyped up event of the year, that probably draws in the most people in spend real money on the game so they can get the new tokens...

Even if I barely play the rest of the year, I always make sure I do every day of the beach event and get all the tokens. It's my absolute favorite thing about this game and I think a lot of people feel the same way. I can't believe they're just not doing it this year.
